No, I'm saying he was a point per game in his NHL call up lol. And he was. (4 pts in 4 games and a period before being benched)
And he's like 0.95 ppg in the AHL so more or less there too.
Its admittedly quite funny that to this poiht hes doing exactly what you're saying is beyond reasonable expectation.
No one expects him to retain that clip in the NHL but he's our best bet as far as farm hands that could chip in offensively.
If there are defensive concerns then shelter him, but not using that talent in favor of guys like hunt is just asinine to me. Maybe we should try alleviating some of the load on the shoulders of the 3 or 4 guys that can produce with any semblance of regularity.
But Huska is infallible because of where the team is and shouldn't be questioned on anything, I'm told.

His lack of foot speed is my concern. I hope he’s been working with Fujita.

Huberdeau is on track for his best goal scoring season of his career. He looks so much more confident and it is a joy to watch his reaction to every goal.
His contribution this year is one of the best feel good stories of the season.

It is. Vladar has played well for us and is an important part of this team. I can only dream what this team could have achieved with this goalie tandem backstopping the 21-22 team

For the comments about the 4th line, yeah it has been BAD. 5 minutes of ice time and -2s.
Solution: Put Klapka on a DIFFERENT line. We'll never get to see if he's an NHL player if he keeps playing with the scrubs. (especially Rooney OMG)
He had 1.1 games on a better line and did well.

Since Nov 30th, he has 20G, 23A, 43P in 45 games, which is T-32nd overall.
Three more points would have him top 20 - if his team-mates could take advantage of some of the passes he doles out, he would be there easily.
Oh, and speaking of star players in FLA, he is ahead of Barkov, Reinhart and Tkachuk, over that stretch.

Huberdeau, Weegar and a first doesn’t look quite as bad any more.

Really liking the setup of the top 2 lines (Zary-Kadri-Posposil and Huberdeau-Frost-Coronato). Especially like what it has done for Frost. He’s holding onto pucks and making plays. Zary is back to making high skilled plays that few players attempt let alone execute at the rate he does. I’m still hoping Zary can be developed into a center but it seems like management/coaching staff don’t see that as much so he may be destined to be a winger.

Who told you this?
Kerins looked over his skis at the NHL level in the last half of his games, and especially when he slid down the lineup. He can't play on a shut down line, and wouldn't play in the top six.
Hunt can muck it up on a make shift third line with Backlund out.
Just chill out man.

Thought we were done for with that third Islanders goal so late in the game, but getting that back so quickly was amazing to watch, then Kadri strolling in and ripping it for the winner as the other two go off for a change, just wow.
Is it me or are these lines allowing us to play a hybrid north/south east/west game. The new lines seem to be passing around players rather than always dumping the puck in?

On that Kadri OT Goal, All 3 Isles went controller disconnected.

I think what happened is they saw the Flames starting a line change and they relaxed just for a moment as they expected Kadri to make the safe play and kill some time and probably take it into the corner or behind the net to maintain possession
And Kadri attacked at just that moment. Could very well have turned into a 3 on 2 going the other way with gassed Kadri struggling to catch up
I think it was another example of Kadri being himself, a little selfish and always trying to push the play. This is one of those times where it worked out for us.

If I’m reading the stats correctly Huberdeau has 1 secondary assist all year? That would make his season even more impressive.

He’s always been a great passer.
Frost and Coronato look like the perfect linemates for him to unlock his passing.

It was never a bad trade to begin with. Sutter having a axe to grind for some weird reason destroyed Huberdeau right off the bat.
Weegar was always a great get from day 1 and he’s our best defenceman.
The 1st was great too the only issue was draft picks burnt a hole in Treliving pocket.

The decision is Conroy's, not Huska's.
