Trudeau is both incompetent/just a drama teacher and also a master genius 4D chess mover working behind the scenes.

There is a thing going around that Trudeau’s mother slept with Carney’s uncle. I guess that means Carney is owned by the Trudeaus forever more.

Justin Trudeau is also Fidel Castro's son as we all know.

I have read more than once that, because she was a free spirit, and Pierre being a workaholic with little time for fun or family, he turned a blind eye to her extracurricular activities.

We'll probably never know without a DNA test, but pictures do show a compelling similarity.

After struggling to get the right application, making numerous phone calls with a number of RCMP officers, and dealing with the postal strike, I finally received my licence. My guns were a present from my late wife, and hold great sentimental value. I have owned my guns for over 50 years, and I hope to pass them down to my children when I die.
This legislation wastes a lot of time, money and resources without any real benefit. The above officers could have been more effectively used in preventing the recent incident in Nova Scotia resulting in 22 people killed by a man dressed up in an RCMP uniform.

This is a complete non-issue. I also recently renewed my PAL. Took me all of 40 minutes online and received my new one three weeks later. Easy peasy.
As for “requiring a license to own a firearm is ludicrous”? That’s a simply ludicrous take.

I absolutely shudder to think of PP as prime minister cozying up to the fascists in the White House while they laugh in his face and stab us all in the back (again).
This is the biggest reason I simply can't vote for his party. Maybe if enough people think like this, we might flip some seats in Calgary. It would take something monumental for me to change back to CPC, starting with leadership change.

Calgary's inability to see the stupidity of the UCP tells me this won't happen.
I can't see myself supporting the CPC. It really seems to have become a national version of the UCP.

If a leader tries to move the party a bit closer to the centre, the hard-right wing of the party will take them down. Then they’ll pick someone who looks great to them but is unpalatable to most Canadians and wonder why they didn’t win. Rinse and repeat.
The united right is doing a disservice to all Canadians. A progressive conservative party would do very well right about now, and while some will endorse (or turn a blind eye to) the unsavoury wing of the CPC, thankfully many won’t. They’ve left a gaping hole in the centre and the Liberals are all too happy to fill it.
CPC is pretty much Reform now, and UCP is Wild Rose.

Yeah, I couldn't vote UCP in the provincial election because of their anti-science rhetoric.

I'm not so sure. There is a pretty blatant tone-deafness to the CPC at this point, and they're still campaigning against Trudeau and his policies, whereas the rest of the country has moved on from that. I realize there is that, say, 30% of people in Calgary who hate the Liberals and will never vote for them. But those aren't people you need to worry about because they're voting CPC regardless. It's the softer support; in some of the city ridings, it'll be tighter than it has been for a long time.
People are very concerned about this. Walk down some aisles in the grocery store or look at some of the travel and purchasing decisions people make these days. There's a very motivated electorate at this point and that is going to show through in the election.

Their parties have been hijacked by the lunatic fringe and there is nowhere to go for them. Or so they feel.

Sounds like the problem is you. It takes 15 minutes to renew a firearms license, you can find the appropriate forms by literally googling "Firearms license renewal Alberta"
You also apply by emailing the form or submitting on line. Granted the post office strike may have delayed receiving your physical license...
If you struggle with that process, or had to call and talk with "a number or RCMP Officers" you are the problem and the reason they "otherwise could have been more effectively used" is because they have to walk people through the process who haven't figured out how to tie their shoes yet.

Axe the industrial carbon tax! But wait, then EU will tariff us because there's no carbon pricing as required in trading agreements?
Wait I love tariffs now!
Trump also has tariffs against us though?
Wait I love Trump now!
Be he wants to take over Canada?
Why not, I love being American! America #1!
