I am so very upset right now. I don't stop cheering for the Flames ever, but at these prices and to not sell even the Joel Hanley's of the world....let alone Rasmus.....mediocrity is calling our name.
The conditional pick is the worst part in all this.

We have 3 RD defensive prospects that may play in the NHL who are 25 or under (Pachal is a tweener in my opinion).
The Flames have many more potential or current NHL wingers under that age (Coronato, Zary, Farabee, Honzek, Pospisl, Battaglia, Gridin, Suniev, Basha). 4 of those guys are already proven NHL players whereas none of the dmen are. Even if only 2 out of Honzek, Battaglia, Gridin, Suniev and Basha pan out the Flames have more than enough depth on the wing.

Oleksiak might make a good partner for Parekh if you go that route. Decent defensively and can keep an eye on the kid.
