It will keep us mid this year and next, and we'd be paying to do it.
Flames arent trying to be bad, accept it

Bahl + Oleksiak would give them some real size on the blueline.
This team is missing size, that would be a great addition.

Need more size up front too. Not just physicality, but reach and taking up space.

I think we've got something in Mews, would counter with Kerins, Honzek and 1st.

I'd do that I think.

Yeah I'm fine with that.

But atleast make smart moves, that can push you in a direction. This is a tread mid water move.

Going for a young center with serious upside. Good move.

Going for a superstar UFA. Good move.

Staying pat and letting these guys prove that they got it. Good move.

Paying for a 4/5 D to stay even more mid. Bad move.

Ya Honzek is probably the better piece to trade. The Flames have a lot of young wingers in the system and on the team.

Honestly, unless there a #1 centre brought in, or a high first, nothing really interests me about potential moves at the moment. Getting rid of Andersson without getting either of those back in some way just doesn’t get my blood flowing. Getting a bottom pairing guy like Oleksiak is nice but not worthy of a huge discussion to get riled up about.

Sure, I would just not trade Mews. I would be more comfortable trading Honzek if they are moving a young piece for a young center.

Name to watch I'm told is Ferarro out of SJ.
26 with gritty game.

ugh please don't move assets for a defensive dman that is 26

I actually like the player but it's not the point of the Flames build to add a piece like that

We have too many high octane RD prospects. One of Mews or Bzru should be sold at highest value. Mews probably has higher than Bzru this year.

Is it just me, or is this an odd TDL where teams are reshaping not just buying or selling?
It’s like 2 years of cap jail just released all the prisoners at once.
