So does Ford still go ahead with his export tax on electricity next week? From what I can gather, the 10% tariff on energy is not part of the exemption.
Before I say this, I don't really want to see any tariffs. But, I can't be the only one who wants to see Danielle Smith react to the idea that all the other tariffs are gone, and it's only energy.
Until they cut regulations on those and rides start disintegrating mid run.
I will take one for the team and be the first person to die on It's a Small World in Magic Kingdom.
My kids are scarred for life when our stupid Pirates of the Caribbean ride got stuck for 15 mins next to the screaming skeleton. lol They were 10 and 7 at the time.

Better ####ing not. I’m pissed and petty too, but we have nothing to gain by escalating.
Retaliate in kind until the end of time, but don’t escalate.

It's probably one of the few industries that could absorb it. Differential is currently around 25% (WCS to WTI), so adding 10% to WCS would still make it palatable to US refiners, who would likely just pass the increase down anyways.

In essence Trump just created a fuel tax.
yeah and it gets absorbed with the currency, as well as turnarounds to some extent as well. I would be surprised if the tariff on energy wasn't being removed here. I was just joking because Smith would lose her mind.
We should not accept operating on a "pause" every 30 days. Our retaliatory measures should stay in place until....I dunno when. I would say when some sort of legal agreement signed but we already have that and the Clown-in-Chief and his cronies obviously don't care. So there's not really any guarantees going forward. You can't legislate the guys mouth to get shut.
Just say if he puts them back in place April 2 we will put our retaliatory tariffs back in place until end of year regardless of what they do.
