Nothing imminent guys.. but lots of moving pieces.
It's going to take a "REAL" offer to move Andersson, teams thus far have tried to make it seem like they're doing Craig a favor by taking them off his hands at this point.

I expect a Depth Dman at the very least to be acquired.
Flames remain in talks with Buffalo RE: Cozens
I wonder if Craig would take a run at Rantanen, though they wont trade for his rights without an extension already in place.

Rantanen would be a sick add to the top line down the stretch.

What do you mean by depth dman? Flames all ready have enough 6,7,8 dmen. They need a legit partner for weager but that’s not what I would call depth dman.

As much as I want Anderson traddd because of future contracts, conny has to stay strong. I don’t think he got enough for tanev or hanifin and teams might see that as weakness

Looks like we need some clarification here.

I feel like Buffalo's absence of moves is due to wanting nhlers and no notable nhlers wanting to go there.

I think he means a 4D. Someone to slot ahead of Pachal. The Flames have 3 NHL Dmen in Rasmus, Weegar and Bahl, plus Pachal who may or may not be but right now is a 5-6, and then a group of guys who are AHLers - Hanley, Bean, Miro.

The Flames are full of Depth Dmen, it's something they should be trading away not trading for! Just insanity.

Place in overall OHL scoring in this year and last year.... or maybe i am misreading it or there was a typo in there. But that is how I interpreted it

I think they want one that can actually keep his head above water.

Re: "Depth defenceman" talk — it'd be one thing if Conroy went out and got Luke Schenn. It'd be another thing if he went out and got Zellweger or Casey. Just my 2c.

From 2020-21 onwards, Bean has played 239 NHL games and zero AHL games. He's not an AHLer.

Hanley hasn’t been to bad. I would say he’s been the best partner for weegar this season. Granted that’s not saying much. Would be nice for Hanley to be our 7th dman.

What about Oleksiak? Can play a top 4 role, big and probably wont cost us much. An improvement over what we currently have. Maybe Seattle would be interested in Miromanov + low pick
