Bzru+ both of our other 1sts for Misa is the max offer I would make in that scenario.

I wonder about a Miromanov for Martinez swap with Chicago. Martinez is a 37 year old rental but what an add he would be to solidify the left side for a push for the playoffs given that guys experience.

What happened with the Brandon Carlo rumor? He's actually a player I would want the Oilers to get.

From what I have heard the offers so far on Carlo were pretty low. They probably increase as we head into tmrw and he moves somewhere.

Certainly helps the team more than Miro.

I really think now is the highest value, and Conroy has to have a good idea of what it takes to sign Andersson. Signing him to max years at anything that starts with a 7 or 8 is no good.

Its very rare that Flames win a trade. I’d stick with the safer plan.
No guarantees parehk does. He could easily be bouchard, lots of offense really shakey defence.

However misa is breaking records has the base tools. Size, skating, shot, iq, how well he uses team mates. For some reason misa isnt getting the respect he deserves. Like i said literally breaking records in his draft year. To me he is a sure thing. I have him over schaefer.

This is one if the reasons i want him traded. If he stays its a bad year with a hot start, and i think by next trade deadline he is a bottom mid d looking for a long contract who doesn’t skate well.

I just don’t think he ages well at all .

With insiders confirming that Rantanen is not going to sign an extension with the Canes, Avs management are looking like geniuses. They got a haul for a guy they knew was going to market, and are rolling with the revamped roster.

As for the Canes, if they deal him again we’ll have a pretty clear measure of how badly they got screwed. Odds are low they’ll get a PPG forward, a #3C, and 2nd for Rantanen now.

Agreed, they will most likely be looking at futures unless a 3rd seller team is engaged.

I mean Parekh was the first dman since Orr to have back to back 30 goal seasons in the OHL if you are using records to justify trades. I'd just stick with the prospect that is continuing to impress.

Sturm dealt to Florida.

That wouldn't even be close to such a high pick, guaranteed to be no lower than 3rd right now.

Well so the only people I've seen try to compare Parekh to Bouchard are Oiler fans on social media, don't like to see a Flames fan do it to try to argue in favor of trading him. not cool.

If you want to seriously compare them Parekh was better in his draft year and better in his D+1.

Nope, I wouldn't. This just feels like "shiny new toy" syndrome to me. We finally have a prospect to be excited about, with a year of further development under him, all just to do a lateral move at best to reset it by a year again? It's not like we are trading a winger for a centre. I'd value a franchise D man just as high as a franchise centre.

Agreed. Even if the Flames find themselves with their own pick selecting 8-10 + Bryz, I doubt you get to 3OA.

Friedman reported they offered him $100M over 8 years.

He wasn't taking that in Colorado and wanted to get paid. Not sure why they thought he would take a discount to stay in Carolina.

Now Colorado has a guy producing at the same rate for half the price, and filled a hole on the 3rd line and defence.
