Besides the rest of the post being a very myopic way of looking at Trudeau's schedule at best, the bolded is the most fun. You do realize that Milhouse has zero actual real world work experience outside of politics, right?

I can't imagine the chasm that's present in a person's life to make them want to act like this doesn't lay entirely at the feet of Trump's stupidity and ego.
What the hell are you going to do when Trudeau is gone? Has the existential crises really set you flailing around this badly?

Trudeau was not hiding in Europe.
He was there for a few days for prior commitments as PM, doing his job. And that's after publicly stepping down.
I've never liked him as PM, but he's done a stand up job over the past 6 weeks. I can't say with confidence that those vying to be the next PM would have stepped up as he has in the same time period.
Which begs the question - why the hell does it take Trump making advances on our economy and sovereingty for this guy to finally do the job he was elected to do?
The transformation has been Theoden-like.

I've lost count of the scandals, ethics violations, corruption from Trudeau and the liberal party of the last decade. But people have short memories (and given that I've lost count - me as well). Trump is certainly helping Trudeau and liberal party claw things back popularity wise.

He has been busy appointing senators, ambassadors and judges so that Canada will continue to be dysfunctional for decades after he leaves. He has also been giving away money faster then he ever has. And he has been jetting around the world on the tax payer dime more then usual, which is what he has always been best at. And parliament is prorogued, so there is that. I'm not under the same impression as you that he is working hard, at least not for Canadians.

A lot of it is the biased Trudeau funded Canadian media. If we had a neutral unbiased media in Canada Trudeau probably wouldn't have gotten a second term.

End of the day there is nothing Trudeau could do. If the US really cared about drugs they'd hatch up a plan to work together with Canada on dealing with it because anyone with half a brain knows that its a super complex problem to deal with. Looks at the war on drugs.
Only in Trump land can you solve the problem with a few tariffs and some mean tweets.

Going by their rhetoric they clearly didn't.

I think Trudeau himself is part of the reason why we were in Trump's crosshairs to begin with. I mean Trump doesn't see Trudeau as a friend because Trudeau constantly publicly pokes fun at Trump, runs attack ads featuring trump. Half the liberal leadership race videos are about standing up to trump and fighting trump. The well was poisoned by Trudeau long before Trump's second term. Freeland brags about her Trump negotiating skills, where was she during this tariff war?

Lets be real, if Poilievre gets in with a majority it's at least 50/50 he surrenders Canada to the US so he can be the permanent leader of the puppet state we'd become. Trudeau and the Liberals are full of issues, but they aren't MAGA fanboys like the current CPC hierarchy are.

Canada is in America's crosshairs because Trump and the GOP are implementing damaging isolationist policies combined with corrupt economic strategy/policy that is benefitting the ultra-wealthy while also pursuing pro-Russia alignment. If you think "Trudeau" is the main reason they are targeting Canada... you're an idiot.

My coworker said things like that are all theater, all staged. I guess Trump is also a brilliant actor. How do you argue with this baloney?

Unless it’s changed, McDonalds Canada has been sourcing all of its beef from Canada. Has that changed? I’ve been told they’ll be getting some beef from South America.

Just Trudeaus own website, he has appointed 93 out of how many senators total? 105? Ya that's gonna function well.
https://www.pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-re...tment-senators
According to Blacklocks, Trudeau has made 104 federal appointments since he announced his resignation in January. He has been a busy little killer bee.
