Yeah. Not sure what odds the flames are getting right now but my guess is the best odds have the flames finishing outside the playoffs but also outside the bottom 10.

Miromanov is Chicago makes sense if they are interested. Wonder if we would rather swap for one of their dmen or just go for a low pick? like maybe try to get Crevier, Del Mastro or Kaiser. Not sure how much more they are worth then Miro

Through like 30 games they were averaging about 10.0 high danger chances against per 60 minutes which was top 10 to top 12 in the league.

Now they are over 13.0 / 60 which is 32nd.

So top 20 offence and top 10 defense became top 15 offence and bottom 5 defense.

That's not going to end well.
Where are you getting top 20 or top 15 offense from? They are tied for dead last in goals per game.

I don't disagree with what you are saying though. They are giving up more, which coupled with a pop gun offense is going to be a problem. And a young goalie who is likely to tire near the end of his first full NHL season.

Anyone else just quickly scroll through/skip every post in this thread unless it's from Diss, Sec or Royle? Haha

They're not alone in this, though.

26th OA right now in the standings is a .500 team. And as far as goal differential goes, all the teams in the mix for picks 8-10 are about the same (or better).

I'm not ruling anything out at this point.

Generation not actual scoring.

They've always had a finishing issue.

Now they have a giving up too much, and not generating as much problem on top of it.

Has that been trending better since Bahl came back?

Yes and no

The Flames actually had very good road games in Washington and Tampa, and then complete face plants in Florida and Carolina.

I’ve rechecked and confirmed that what I heard earlier is the same.
Not discounting you Diss but things being quiet is opposite of what I’m being told.

Chaotic times I’m thinking.

2/3 . Why would you listen to someone who has self admitted as a liar multiple times on this board. Some people around here have short to nil memories lol. Also, Sureloss should be subbed in.

Playing low event hockey is getting away from them. That is the danger when you play this way.

I understand the lack of talent required them to play this way, but its a hard style to keep up when you rely on scoring 2 goals to win games.

When we need our backend push the pace more and we are limited in that regard as well. Good news is help is hopefully coming in a few years. What was discussed prior to the season the defence struggling to get the forwards the puck is now rearing its head.

Ya, except the easiest way to do that was to look at posts with a lot of thanks until YOU RUINED IT

Chicago is not trading for Miromanov, and certainly not giving up one of their good prospects for him. He is valueless. The 3 dmen you speak of for Chucago are young and taking a regular role right now. Del Mastro right now is considered an excellent prospect.
