The democrats are the weakest bunch of people in the world. We know MAGA are evil, but the rest of America is completely spineless and are doing nothing about this whatsoever.

My post was obvious partially a joke but the concern and some of the blame does indeed lie with the Democrats, Democratic party and the media. CNN Jake Tapper and this book are only one piece of the pie. Recently in a NYT interview, the guy who kinda took the last devastating blow to Joe Biden's Presidency with candid remarks about his mental fitness (George Clooney) also blasted the media for not keeping the President and the Democrats to account.

I wanted nothing to do with Trump 2.0 but with my Liberal, progressive friends and people on this board would argue with me about Biden's mental and physical capacity. He was clearly done to anybody without a bias. People can think what they want now and the US is getting what they voted for.

In sports if your championship is on the line, then you put your best players on the ice/field. If your business is on the verge of collapse, you get the best manager and turnaround specialist there is, not the loser who should have been axed ages ago.

Only in politics would people argue that Joe Biden was the best American person for the job to take on what people perceived as the worst option in America (Trump)

All this talk about Biden's fitness for office used to be right wing propaganda and conspiracy. Now mainstream media members and Democrats openly talking about this with what I assume will be devastating stories.

What are you talking about? Everybody knew Biden was well past his prime and not fit for office. But he was still better than Trump. Biden’s corpse is a better president than Trump.

Biden also had a very good support team meaning even if he was president in name only the country was still being run competently.

Nobody ever thought that it was some right wing conspiracy theory.

Biden also showed pretty rapid signs of decline towards the end of his term. He was pretty spry most of the time.

If the Dems are to blame for the current situation, it's the 2016 dems. If Trump just loses the first time everything is fine. They underestimated his support. Which, to be fair, so did basically everyone including me.

When the election is a choice between an educated person with empathy, ethics, integrity, morals, and intelligence, and the other person is one of the worst human beings alive (convicted felon, rapist, known charlatan, and Russian asset)... it's really not a hard choice. It REALLY isn't. At least is shouldn't be.

The problem lies in manipulated media, a failed education system that doesn't place an importance on critical thinking, and America's addiction to team politics.

Let's be clear here - Trump and the GOP are the problem, and have been for a decade now. Never lose sight of that. Trying to lay blame on Biden, Harris and the Democrats for Trump is just weak gaslighting to try and rationalize the orange #### gibbon's behaviour.

He really is a terrible candidate is the funny thing...Hillary also being terrible got him in the first time, he got killed by Biden of all people. Last election Trump sucking actually kept it close. Other republicans were polling far better vs. Biden/Harris because of inflation (that had a lot to due with Trumps first term)

Part of me thinks the democrats are actually standing back and letting this all happen -- with the hopes there will be a major pushback from the public that provides lasting damage to the republican party. Seems like a risky strategy if they actually lose parts of a healthy functioning government in the process -- but yeah they have been way too quiet. I just don't see how senior people in the other major political party wouldn't be saying/doing anything.

It’s really a stunning dichotomy. On one hand, they’re hacking and slashing in the name of efficiency and trying to reduce the deficit. On the other hand, they’re buying things like Cardano and Solana for some kind of strategic reserve. Just forget that fact that they already have the global reserve currency, and there’s literally nothing strategic happening here.
