One would think that with the overwhelming evidence of disinformation attacks against the US that Trump would certainly be aware of them at a level higher than we know, but still chooses to ignore them to what he perceives to be his advantage is worrying.
Even the fact that Canada is subject to them but there really has been no push back and educational examples from our government is double worrying

I wasn’t aware that Hegseth ordered the Cyber Command to stand down and halt all Russia-related cybersecurity operations. I can only take so much at this point.
In other news, on YouTube channels like Legally Armed America, Heavy Duty Country, Viva Frei (moved to Florida from Canada) and other brilliant, intelligent sites, Zelenskyy was high on cocaine during the meeting. And US dollars have been going to support his habit. Also, Pelosi and Harris were getting kickbacks from Zelenskyy. Judging by the comments there are plenty of people who believe this.
I probably need to stay off of YouTube now. It just makes me sick.

At this point we should be making a series of atomic mines to bury along the border, it's about the only thing we can do quick enough that will hold the US in check

I wonder if Zelenskyy knew he’d be skewered in that meeting and attended knowing it’d unite the world behind him? Brilliant if so.

I actually think they ant to see civil unrest... which would give them the excuse to institute martial law.
Plus there's apparently been great technological advances in crowd control weaponry.
Maybe they'll be too busy killing each other to invade Canada.

You cannot trust the Americans, and Canadians need to ACT in their own self interests and do everything necessary to protect Canada. If we care about Canada.
This is why I am personally very disappointed so far with Canada’s actions. Not words- which are meaningless- our actions, which have been and continue to be weak and hollow.
|
What actions would you propose Canada have taken in the last 38 days since Trump took office?
Words do matter, they turn into action. But there’s virtually no action Canada could’ve taken the last 38 days to prevent what’s happening down south.

I think your comment is fair, but from the post comparing Morocco and Armenia, I'd say the main differentiator is religion. Armenia is 97% Christian. Morocco, not so much.
Not saying that that differentiator is any less problematic than race, for what it's worth!

I guess I’m pretty behind but I just learned about the book Unhumans, with the cover blurb written by Vance and endorsements by Trump, Bannon, Musk, etc.
In it, Franco and Pinochet are hailed as heroes. And this, if given the chance, is the MAGA plan for the Left. The book was a best seller.
Interesting that Vance recently became a Catholic.
Definitely plant land mines and whatever else you have to do keep us out of there.

And the hits just keep on coming. Apologies if this has already been posted:
Quote:
A bill before the Missouri State Senate would introduce $1,000 rewards for people identifying undocumented immigrants who are then taken into custody.
The proposal would make it a state felony for anyone in the US illegally to enter and stay in Missouri. It would create an opportunity for licensed bond agents to become bounty hunters. And it would create a fund not just for the bounty hunters, but anyone who provides information on an undocumented individual that results in their arrest.
Senate Bill 72 is still in committee and may never become law. But opponents say it’s already spreading fear and changing the lives of both legally residing and undocumented immigrants.
“It’s really hateful,” Ashley Chavarria told CNN. Chavarria is the US-born daughter of two Mexicans who came across the border illegally in the late 1980s and have stayed ever since. She said she’s already seen Latinos, some undocumented, in Missouri’s capital Jefferson City area staying away from English classes and even afraid to collect their children from school since the inauguration of President Donald Trump and the onset of his mass deportation drive.
And the new bill could make things worse, added Chavarria, who works at a social service agency for Hispanic communities made up of both citizens and non-citizens. “It’s actually going to put more fear into people and turn people against each other,” she said.

I am pretty sure Arizona tried this when Biden was in power and the federal government won after fighting it in court. As of right now, it's only a summary offense punishable by deportation under federal law to be undocumented unless you were deported and entered again while being barred from from entry. The latter would be a felony. The court ruled that the state couldn't change that.

I suspect you could find many who would not agree that it is in the interest to the US to attack, invade, annex, engage in economic warfare with... Canada. And i believe there is a way above 0 chance that the military apparatus that existed in the US 2 months ago would have resisted those orders, that is why Trump is replacing them, and that is why Canada needs to have continuing engagement with the exiting layer of leadership to make sure that there is a void that can be filled if there is any internal strife in their ranks.
I also think it's incredibly hard to judge the actions of Canada in the moment because so much of it by necessity is behind closed doors. We know they are engage with Europe, we don't know to what end. We can be sure that Canada is constantly engaged with the Trump administration and we don't know to what end. We know there are active internal conversations about upgrading infrastructure, we don't know if, how, when any of that will come to fruition. It's been 6 weeks and these are years long projects.
We do know that Canada can't be seen to be publicly winning in these negotiations because our negotiating partner is a very dumb zero sum thinker who only wants to see his partner lose to feel better about himself. So if we end this with basically the exact same situation and appearing to lose, that would be a massive victory for Canada (which is basically what happened in 2018/19)

Considering the disaster that has been the last few weeks, it appears that top journalists have been digging around to see how on earth this could have happened. How could someone such as Trump win the election? What happened with his opposition in Biden/Harris?
The good news is that the good people at CNN have been uncovering the truth. It's a sin for the world to be subjected to Donald Trump for another 4 years.
The Original Sin is the original cover up. American's were lied to about the health and the mental fitness of their President! The American media dropped the ball so to speak.

Did not mean to thank this post. Apparently I’m too old to figure out how to take it back.
I can’t believe that we continue to hold Biden in contempt.
So the premise of this useless book is that Biden felt he was the only one capable of beating Trump in the election, and in doing so would preserve democracy. For the world. Good on you Joe. At least someone saw the blinking red lights for what they were and tried to do something.
And we are going to paint him as the villain somehow while giving the people really trying to destroy the world order a complete pass. #### off Jake Tapper. #### you and your ####ing righteousness. How about someone with a platform step the #### up and do something. Maybe someone from the media. Oh. Can’t do that. My ratings might suffer. Enjoy the cheque from the book you self righteous jackass.
Well no ####. Here we are. And less than a month in we are collectively considering what to do when America decides to annex us.
I’m sickened by the fall I’m witnessing in real time, and it all comes down to spineless cowards in the media for being more concerned about their ratings than their purpose.
