He can't stay, unless it's like a max 5 year term. He just isn't in the window the flames are trying to approach to be competitive. Which definitely isn't now.

Wouldnt surprise me if the Sabres want a player like Battaglia, maybe Mews too.

Buffalo has Calgary’s offer for Cozens. It’s fair and does involve roster players and picks.

Backlund hasn’t been approached to waive but Conroy has engaged the camp of all players with trade protection.

Rasmus Andersson has been asked if there is any changes to his 6 team NTC.

Flames have engaged every team on Blake Coleman’s 10 Team
pre approved trade list.

Kadri Camp and Flames have dialogue. I’m told it’s Toronto or Colarado no thanks at this moment.

Flames deep in negotiations with Zary, Wolf and Bahl.
Interesting. So reading between the lines, the deal you teased before with the gifs is NOT about Cozens

Well thanks for clarifying you can't judge talent. There isn't a person in hockey media that would remotely agree with that. That's laughable.

Is a 14 shot shutout really a shutout?

Disagreeing and questioning opinions isn’t the same thing as thinking people should not have different opinions

Some people when challenged including on their apparent biases react with anger and lashing out.

Show me where I’ve ever said someone cannot have a different opinion.

You seem to be want to say whatever you want without debate?

It’s the rest of us that are wrong for sure
Lots of teams had a chance to hire him and he finally got a head coaching gig by default and was given a chance by a rookie GM on a rebuilding team.

Ok. The Toronto Blue Jays have just as much talent in their starting lineup as the LA Dodgers. I mean if we are saying really terrible takes that's about in the same level as what Jiri said.

I don’t think it’s (entirely) lack of effort; Flames just don’t have foot speed or the eye-hand reflexes and sheer talent the Panthers do. And the Panthers work VERY hard and are extremely well-organized. They KNOW where someone is going to be…very few errant passes.

He’s a community captain but I don’t think he’s a captain you win with.

so far it seems like a good hire.
You seemed to hate it from day 1 and haven’t been able to alter your view with new information
