I would have no qualms telling my maple MAGA relatives who were questioning their faith in Dear Leader that they were morons.
Cults are typically quite secretive and use many personal tactics and isolation to enforce their agendas. MAGA has had public opposition and opposing information for years.

The country that couldn’t hold Iraq, couldn’t hold Afghanistan, couldn’t hold Vietnam is going to take a G7 NATO member with a 3500 mile border, infinite retreating territory, limited transnational infrastructure, thousands of miles of coastline, access to three oceans, Russian-level winters, and 2 guns for every fighting aged male already in private circulation.
Their funeral.

Probably, but if he does actually do it then the dreams of humanity's extinction become virtually certain because Elon is going to go beyond off the deep end when he suffers the worst humiliation TV has ever seen.

The hidden advantage we have too is we're mostly white people. One thing for US American soldiers to go out and kill brown people, it's the reason 90% of them joined after all. But killing white people? I think they will struggle mightily to pull the trigger.

The question is, do you care more about feeling right, or that these people actually end up seeing the light? Because only one of those things helps you or anyone else.
They already admit that you were right and they were dumb by even approaching the subject. Like if you have a friend who's got a mental health problem but won't admit it. For years you've been telling them they need therapy and they brush it off, all the while they are destructive to themselves and the people around them. If that person ever comes to a trusted person and says "I think I need help" the move is not to go off about hw you've been saying that for years and point to all the destruction they've caused. It's to be empathetic and welcome them back to the world.

Yup. Musk is an all-talk blowhard and a coward.
Remember when Elon challenged Mark Zuckerberg to a cage fight a few years ago and then cowardly backed out when he learned that Zuckerberg is a trained amateur MMA fighter? Pepperidge Farms remembers.
https://www.theguardian.com/commenti...erg-cage-fight
Quote:
Elon Musk, who publicly challenged his fellow tech billionaire Mark Zuckerberg to a cage match earlier this summer and has spent the time since doing everything except actually fighting, is a man who possesses every pitiful trait necessary to prompt him to humiliate himself. Ensconced in a bubble of fabulous wealth, he has grown overly intoxicated with his own genius, and makes the error of assuming that his success in business will carry over into success in a physical showdown.
[...]
His opponent of choice, blank-eyed Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, is another type familiar in gyms: the inhumanly driven data nerd, the type of person who tracks workouts in spreadsheets and pursues physical training with the same unblinking devotion as writing code. It’s possible to gripe about the disturbing joylessness of this type of person, but the relevant point here is that the robotic Zuckerberg would be guaranteed to absolutely dominate a squealing, petulant Musk in the cage.
While Zuckerberg sought to get the fight legitimately scheduled and sanctioned, Musk swanned around saying what a grand show it should be, and then suggested just doing it in a back yard. This stuff – talking loud about tangential issues, clamoring for impossible ground rules, showing up at places where you know your opponent won’t be – is the familiar behavior of someone who doesn’t want to show anyone that he is terrified of getting punched in the face.

If there is a US military invasion of Canada, when the inevitable guerilla resistance movement emerges, we should co-opt the Red Dawn fantasy from so many American right-wingers and call the freedom fighters "Wolverines". They will be named, of course, in honour of Canada's most well-known superhero.

This whole time with threats against Canada, I've secretly been wanting Trudeau to straight up say "Let's do it like the old days, leader v leader. Octagon. Winner get's the other's country."
JT isn't a tough man, but he's a fit human man vs the amorphous blob that is Trump.

Can't we AI up a real good video of Trudeau nailing Ivanka? Might cause a stroke of rage/jealously from Trump.

I don’t know - do you get to choose those sorts of things now, or does the callsign get bestowed on you once you reach a certain level?
It’s beside the point - nobody starts a shooting war with a country they can’t even beat at hockey.
As for trying to break us economically - The government is already moving to strengthen ties with the EU - if/when they can broker some sort of deal to supply natural gas and oil to the the continent, we can securely develop our energy resources for the next century. You’re already seeing stories about Quebec politicians changing their tune on pipelines. I wonder why.
Cancel the F-35 deal, and buy Gripens from Sweden. Save billions, help a European ally.
Long term, I see this whole situation being an absolute boon for Canada.
Trump has done more to create unity in this country in the last two week than Trudeau has in two terms. He is supergluing this country together The same way Putin has super glued Ukraine.
And credit to Vlad here - Krasnov is completely hamstringing the US’s global influence for a generation, no matter what short term gains he’s getting from the stock markets.
Canada imports more American-brand vehicles than China and Germany combined - it’s over 20% of the Big 3’s export business. Trump has made these brands radioactive overnight.
This is going to be devastating for Detroit. It’s going to be devastating for America, frankly.
Canada will be fine. Every so often, it helps if people like you.

At that point all holds are off and we can show them why Canada is the reason they had to create the Geneva Conventions.
