Not sure it's been mentioned enough but a huge part of the goal is the little play that Marner makes to be able to corral that puck off the wall without turning to his backhand to pick it up.

Not having to turn to his backhand hand but using his stake to angle the puck to his forehand off the boards is such a little simple play that opens up the time and space and caused the U.S. dmen to panic.

On another note I watched yesterday’s PTI and PK Subban was the guest for their five good minutes segment. When talking about the teams who aren’t at this tournament wanna guess who the first nation he mentioned was? ####ing Denmark. Denmark!! lol. PK is cooked. What a dope.

Didn't think Marner received enough credit from the pundits, but I didn't see the entire post-game.

His Leafs teammate Matthews lost McDavid on the play.
