I signed that letter last week,

And alas I was about the write that my MLA is the definition of a backbencher, but I looked him up and because everyone needs that ministry bonus under Smith he is in fact the minister of immigration and multiculturalism.

It would be really great to get a few hundred letters to these guys that held there seats by 130 votes, and tell them that Calgarians expectations are now that they find and excuse oust Smith, and remind them that they have the power to do it. I'd take Kenny or Jean 100 times out of 100 over her.

Something to add to your coal mining letter is perhaps the false promise of jobs at the mine. In a study done on BC mines over the last two decades, for every 100 jobs promised by a mine...an average of just 12 materialized as an actual job.

He is the Cochrane MLA- anyone here live in his riding? He would be the person I would target on a campaign of insurgency within the party.

That being said, I think he's actually more in the TBA crowd overall, so long term not aligned with what I would like to see. However, meeting him in person several times, seems like a nice and inoffensive guy and doesn't have any of those TBA red flags, so I might be wrong about his ultimate intentions.

He is probably trying to save his own butt. Cochrane had a death not to long ago and the blame was because they didn't have a 24 Emergency Room. Ridiculous, being the size and growth of Cochrane. But, this is the UCP telling us everything is good with health care in Alberta.

That same numbered company sold the property to Alberta Infrastructure on Aug. 26, 2024, for $2 million cash.

A lot of good info in that report

This is a relatively common and disgusting practice with industrial developments. Job numbers are vastly overinflated to beef up the pitch for subsidies. Or temporary construction numbers are presented as a total job pitch while the ultimate result is like 30 permanent jobs.

Don’t worry everyone, the bootlickers want you to know that they’re taking a stand. They promise to stop supporting Danielle Smith if (and only if!) her investigation into herself comes up bad for her.

Don’t worry about bringing up anymore evidence. They really care about corruption, and the best way to stop corruption isn’t bringing to light evidence of corruption (common misconception), it’s giving the corrupt people a chance to do the right thing.

Latest from CTV has that AHS was asking MHCare to provide detail on their procurement of Tylenol because it wasn't clear they were actually doing anything with the most recent ~$20M that we had pre-paid.

Deadline for response was Jan 8th, same day that the AHS CEO was fired. Funny how that works.

“The Supply Agreement required MHCare to promptly initiate the Health Canada importation approval process for Acetaminophen IV 10 mg/ml upon AHS' release of the $28M prepayment. The Supply Agreement also required MHCare to keep AHS regularly informed as to the status of the Health Canada importation approval process, and the expected first shipment date of Acetaminophen IV 10 mg/ml.

“MHCare has provided AHS with limited written documentation regarding the status of Health Canada’s importation approval process, and no information that we can find on file with respect to MHCare’s handling and use of the prepaid amounts.”

Lam said in the letter that AHS expected an answer by Jan. 8, 2025.

On that date, Mentzelopoulos was fired.
