You think vile hatred for Gretzky on this forum is a new thing connected to any sort of recent event?
Son, do you know where you are posting right now and are you high?

I’m sure if the US sends troops over our border with hostile intent, you and everyone else on this board will do their part to send as many of them home in boxes as it takes until they get it.

Yup. But the narrative was very close to being significantly different.
He floated around for most of the game and twice in OT prior to the goal gave up on his man on plays that very nearly resulted in a US win.
Seen this movie before. Not atypical for McDavid. You have the very good but you get a lot of bad.
And no one at SN is going to ever acknowledge it.

Stick to hockey, leave the politics and labeling out of it. I recall a very recent discussion about Pride events not ending well so let's not repeat it on a good site for Flames fans.

Trump literally wove his 51st state spiel into a pre-game message to his team and to Canada. Dropping yet another governor label on our prime minister.
But yeah, same rules don't apply to your infallible orange pig deity.

Maybe I'm a little bit autistic and I don't understand social cues really well, but are you being goofy and playing around and being silly? Or do you actually think I had my penis out and I was stroking it watching a sporting event?

I'm guessing he/she doesn't understand there will always be a dislike for players on rival teams. In fact you'll probably find it with every teams fans base.

Don't tempt me. I've been a fan longer than most here have been alive and I'm far from being a boomer. Very ecstatic for us Canadians today. Big relief to win in such a clutch fashion (not quite like 2010 elation level but still thrilling), just not thrilled with the needless labeling crap. There a lot more conservatives and Trump supporters than you think who are simply holding back from chiming in. I don't put too much stock in all the supposed threats to our sovereignty. Might actually help us Canadians feel like we have something after all and perhaps more motivation to develop our own economy properly.

No, I'm referring to the hatred that Gretz is receiving because he was at the Trump inauguration. Oiler fans threatening to burn their autographed jerseys, renaming Gretzky Street/Ave/Road/Circle/Blvd or whatever, revoking his Canadian Hall of Fame status and citizenship. It's way over the top.

People dont hate Trump because he is a conservative...he isnt one anyway. He knew he could fool uneducated whites and wanted to seize power so he held up a bible (upside down lol) and blamed everything on immigrants.

I get it, you support Trudeau and actually believe the rest of the world respects him for his amazing tenure as our leader? Great! I'm glad he was cheering for our guys in person because he proved he was bad luck and should just leave us the he!! alone. Glad we can all celebrate a big win tonight. Cheers!

Watching again on NHL in 30.
Sam Bennett with a fantastic game. Dominant almost every shift.
Man I wish we still had him on the Flames.
