I'm here because I love being around my Flames brethren. It's a good place as an escape while living in "Oilerville" for the past 6 years. I've not even declared or confessed any of my political opinions here. Only asked to keep personal labeling and attacks off the board that come from one certain side. Yet I'm the supposed loser? Really nice way to treat a fan who moved to Calgary as an immigrant kid in 1980 and been through thick and thin with the Flames since day 1.
This is proving my point that Canadians aren't as open minded and accepting as they claim to be. I couldn't care less what your political leanings are. It's a hockey site quickly becoming over populated with pretend tough guys. It's going way beyond intense sporting competition when you're this triggered. Amazing...
Stick to hockey, leave the politics and labeling out of it. I recall a very recent discussion about Pride events not ending well so let's not repeat it on a good site for Flames fans.
You have a few more pairs of boots to lick. Do us a favour and go do that instead of wasting anyone's time.l more than you have
I know the downside is we’ll hear about mcdavid’s greatness for weeks after this, but if the alternative is Tkachuk and his MAGA boys winning, give me SN Mcdavid drooling any day. Some things are just not ok.
They were always just going to talk about McDavid anyway.

I'll take McDavid talk about a Canada win over anything Tkachuk all day. Trash family, trash people imo.

Bull!! You came here looking to pick a fight with some of the members on this forum. Then you act all surprised when people respond to your posts. That's not how you endear yourself to a forum you want to be a part of.

You are getting treated unfairly I think.
This game (and tourny) has everyone running pretty high emotionally/politically which I get. I was trying to keep politics separate from this before today when things amplified a little.. and drew me in more emotionally than I anticipated.
Hope you stick through it. Us Canadians all deserve a win tonight and deserve to feel the win

Whatever dude (or dudette). Them fight'in words were already cocked and ready apparently. My bad for the request. I should have known better.

Some advice for you. Don’t venture over to the off topics section if you think this thread was bad. You might get PTSD.
Vile hatred? Yeah, if Mordor wants to take middle earth, there's gonna be some hatred. The eye of Sauron has turned it's gaze on us and we are supposed to be nice and sympathetic about it? Nah. Don't start none, won't be none.
