He's a do whatever it takes, ruin as many people's lives, so long as he can make a name for himself as an investigatory journalist, no matter how many friends he loses or people he leaves dead and bloodied along the way, just so long so he can make a name for himself as an investigatory journalist.

There's lots of uncertainty in polls today which I conceded based on the Trump and 51st state factor being a black swan event for the CPC they were clearly unprepared for, but best not to count the chickens before they hatch if your sole intention is to gloat when Canadian political priorities completely changed since my post (including my own personal ones).
LOL, I'm not counting anything. My entire point back then(which was ridiculed) and is now is that polls are pretty meaningless until close to an election for predicting election outcomes. But people were spinning victory laps like PP had single handled buried the Liberal Party for the next hundred years. A week is along time in politics, particularly in this day and age. So I'll take my laughs, thanks.

I mean nobody was talking about PP, but sure.

Is PP calling himself an outsider?

What does clothing cost have to do with being an outsider?

Nobody said anybody does.

Would $2100 shoes be acceptable? $1500? $500? $90? What’s the best price range for shoes to wear in politics is what I’m asking.

I think most people blame SNC on Trudeau and his inner circle, not the liberal party in general. Rightfully so.

And there were members in the Liberal Party (like JWR) who called them out.

No one is voting for Justin Trudeau this time around.

I have been in this exact situation and stopped reporting our break ins. We would just call a locksmith and move on.
Same with strata buildings I was involved with.

I don't know if break ins are up or down right now, but there is truth to people not reporting incidents.
But has non-reporting of crime increased or decreased in the last few decades?

how would we know that?

We cannot say, crime is up because those numbers are lower than what is actually happening, while simultaneously treating the historical numbers as 100% accurate either.

Deductibles have existed for decades. The same logic would have applied then

So after all this, we’ve established that commercial theft happens, some of it isn’t reported, and not all of it has an insurance claim attached.

All things that were never really in question in the first place and literally nothing to do with rising crime.

We did it everyone. Let’s get those mandatory minimum sentences rolling!

I'd put my money on the boot lickers further doing their thing. We already known outright corruption doesn't matter.
What’s your source on the price of his shoes? Let’s see a link.

The owner of Abacus had a tweet up two days ago about how he has a secret system to bump up the conservative vote to allegedly account for historical undercounting of conservative vote.

He also strangely has PP more popular now against Carney than he ever was in all of 2024 against Trudeau.

Many reasons to think that poll, which is different than every other poll in the last 10 days may be wrong.

Well, good thing I didn't say that then.
I explicitly said I don't know if break ins are up or down.

Whether reporting incidents has always been a concern is a good point. Maybe it was even worse back in the day; who knows.

You’re not doing politics right if you don’t mention that PP’s coat was taxpayer funded and Carney’s shoes aren’t.

Should taxpayers really be paying these people to buy thousands of dollars worth of COATS when people are struggling to put FOOD on the table?

Something like that.

Where do you think the original thing about Carneys shoes came from?

It was pp tweeting a response to a RW news account that pointed out the shoes Carney was wearing in a picture of him playing hockey.
His tweet
"Trying to be a normal guy playing hockey in $2000 shoes.
He's Just Like Justin"
