I don't think they regret it though. I think the team is particularly high on Willander and will (hopefully) have Quinn Hughes for a few years yet. ASP would very likely have been trade bait, just the same as the pick was.

Looks like they are revamping the kind of team they will be.
going from high powered offensive team to a team that's going to try to win 3-2 and 3-1 games.
Have a solid top 3 D and if they were to trade EP for Cozens and Byram that would be one of the best top 4's in the league but not much for the scoring.
Assume Boeser leaves too.
