I think just about the only team that would think about putting in a claim would be Chicago. They need better vets on that team, and they should have no problem with that cap hit. They are very familiar with him as well. I am guessing either Chicago claims him, or he passes through.

 2 years? Nah, pass.

Seriously though, he was good until this year, and IMO he still has talent to help as an NHL calibre player somewhere right now. He needs to be given another chance.

Absent being an a-hole (no evidence of that) he's exactly the type they try to get - formerly good, with a name that their dopey fans recognize.

Yeah, this team will struggle to score for the foreseeable future. There are few if any dynamic offensive players. There are good players and some players who could become great offensive players (Coronato and Zary), but this team still seems quite far from being a wagon offensively.

That's what you sound like every time a player hits waivers, or if someone says Huska is a good coach:

Also according to Hockey Reference, they call him ‘the Man-Child’ and ‘the Saadfather’.

How is that ironic in this specific situation? Like I know you're eager to wedge that in but pick your spots

Alright I guess that wasn't funny, a swing and a miss on my part.

I'm not going to put you on ignore as I enjoy the vast majority of what you post. I just never understood why certain topics irk you that much(which I find amusing), and why you yourself actively seek them out. A waiver thread is going to have people talking about the possibility of a player being claimed, including by the Flames.
