Mississippi state Sen. Bradford Blackmon, a Democrat, introduced a bill this week that would seemingly ban men from masturbating or engaging in other sexual acts when they have no "intent to fertilize an embryo."

The bill, titled the "Contraception Begins at Erection Act," would make it unlawful for "a person to discharge genetic material without the intent to fertilize an embryo." It includes exceptions for sperm donation and using contraception to prevent fertilization.

The bill, introduced Monday, imposes fines of $1,000 for a first offense, $5,000 for a second offense and $10,000 for any subsequent offenses.

The bill is unlikely to pass the GOP-led state Legislature, but if it does and is signed into law by Gov. Tate Reeves, a Republican, it would go into effect in July.

Really...nobody but me immediately thought of this?

Edit: ah dammit. I just saw Galakanokis' subtle post.

Sadly what I'd expect to happen, especially when the attacker is the world's largest superpower / best military. I envision a lot of finger-wagging at the U.S. from the rest of NATO, and not much else (aside from offering us asylum) in that scenario.

I also don't think it will come to that, and it's a lot of blustering by Orange Julius.

A Canadian sniper made 2.19 mile shot, which until recently was the longest ever. Maybe Canada should take a preemptive shot.

The conflict between Turkey and Greece over Cyprus, was also not a defensive action by either country, they were basically fighting over a 'neutral' ground, as far as NATO was concerned.

No one directly attacked either country.

The animosity was only 60 years removed from Turkey wiping out the Grecian population south of Istanbul along the Aegean Sea, and before that all the way back to the loss of Constantinople.

If the US actually did invade Canada, I think that the backlash would be a lot bigger than you think.

Trump had a speech at the WEF today that had a lot of foreshadowing in it

There is a 0% chance anybody is backing up Canada in a war against the USA. Get real man. Who would back us up? Why? I do agree you’ll see some online complaints, but that will end and in a short time we’ll just be part of the States.

The ONLY country that would is China. Canada needs to become besties with China. Oh. No? Then I guess we’ll be Americans. And why would you go die at the US / Canada border? Allegedly free healthcare isn’t worth my life. Sorry, it isn’t. The delta in quality of life between here and there? Ain’t that big.

I assume that the entire Canadian defense plan, is that all of us walk south over the border, en masse. We then quickly dissolve into American society (because they can't tell us apart anyway) and then start slaughtering everyone at night, on a massive scale. After a week, we all walk back, and the heavily armed Americans (no gun laws) continue to destroy each other for the forseeable future. Paranoia reigns. Until they sue for peace, and we demand Maine, before grudgingly agreeing.

Its pretty simple really, because if the US invades their closest ally, what is to stop them from taking anything else they want? The entire scenario would be far more complicated than just "taking over Canada". The entire act would be far reaching and essentially giving justification to China and Russia to expand at will. I don't think any of this would be in the best interests of Europe or Asia.

Trump voter spots a shocking graph. "Absolutely stunning. Who could have seen this coming? Oh, What's that? He did it last time too? And I voted for him again? Well, ####, I guess this is kinda on me then."

Spoiler!

Americans get exactly what they deserve.
The people who voted Democratic are not getting what they deserve.

The people who voted GOP or 3rd party are 90% getting what they deserve, and since the vast majority fall into income and education groups that were protected by what little social safety net the US has/had, they are absolutely going to get fed their lunch by the oligarchy kleptocracy that is now in charge. Unemployed high school dropouts, farmers struggling to survive, military veterans, police officers. That said, they're just doing what Fox News / Joe Rogan told them to believe in. They participated as is their right, there are just roughly 10% who were misled in doing so.

But the people who really need to eat a dick are those who decided not to vote. Especially if they are progressives who just couldn't hold their nose for Kamala, so stayed home instead. You didn't show up, you don't get to complain. Trump is now YOUR guy. Don't be protesting open Nazi salutes. This is what you earned.

I too wish to pin the entire fate of America on the small number of progressives who didn’t vote as opposed to the millions who voted directly for this.

Maybe the better statement is that whoever didn't vote for Trump's opponent made this happen.

It's almost like the warnings were completely ignored.

I've been told Republican voters are not stupid, but I've yet to see any evidence of this. They appear to be some of the dumbest mother####ers on the planet.

The tax trick is where they are duped. This stuff isn't stupidity or ignorance. It's all exactly what their voters want.
