Since the WHL trade deadline ended, the Tigers are averaging 7.5 goals per game. Who needs defense and goaltending?

Also, that was the 500th WHL win behind the bench for Willie D. 12th guy in WHL history to reach that plateau.

If Marques is done for the year then the Canes should add another scorer. People have speculated trading him for Cristall so they can have what they need this year and the Rockets can have what they need next year.

Gus makes his debut today.

Another 6 tonight and they went into the Oil Kings barn and just steam rolled them like nothing.

I couldn't even imagine if they had Lindstrom and Basha.

Yeah, end of his 15 game point streak. And I see Cristall put up 7 points tonight playing with Catton. Too bad, they would have made a great line pair at the WJC lol

Tigers win their 5th in a row 3-0 over the Hitmen. That ends the Hitmens own 6 game win streak. Tigers looked dialed in right now they dominated, shots were 50 to 20. I believe it was only the Hitmens 3rd loss on home ice this season too.

This after dominating the red hot Oil Kings in their barn last game.

Rematch in the Hat tomorrow.

My biggest concern going into this season for Tigers was goaltending, but both guys look pretty rock solid currently.

They've been absolutely rolling for a while now. Just ran into an even hotter team that is playing lights out right now.

Yeah, it's going to be quite the tussle down the stretch between the Tigers, Hitmen, and Hurricanes to see who wins the Central. I guess the Oil Kings are in the mix as well, but I see them just a notch below the other three clubs.

Hurricanes go into Spokane and take them out for their 7th straight win.

Tigers come back down 2-0 in the third and beat the Hitmen 3-2 in 10 rounds of a shootout.

Those 3 teams remind of Swift, Moose Jaw and Saskatoon last year. All loaded up and went for it and you couldn't wait to see which team was going to come out on top.

Of course, there are some other good teams that might have something to say about it too. Edmonton, PA and Brandon are no slouches either.

Gonna be a fun final stretch of the season.

Felt bad for that goalie. Tigers out shot them 20-3 in the 3rd alone.

Shooting gallery.

Andrew Cristall being kept off Team Canada is shameful

8 in a row for Lethbridge tonight. Dylan Cozens was in town to attend the game. My son was introduced to him and Dylan remembered him from a "Skate with the Canes" event immediately after a home game.

In a potential preview of the WHL Western Conference final playoff series, Spokane edged Everett 3-2 last night. That was only the 6th game that Everett has lost in regulation time this season.
