The problem is when you're about to be in a tariff war or trade war or a union dispute or whatever the worst thing you can do is show a crack or dissention among the ranks. You show a united front at all times, even if there's disagreements behind closed doors.
All she had to do was shut her yapper. But nope, gotta get on twitter and tell people you disagree with your own government right before Trump takes office. Oh yeah, guess what everyone......look over here.....I'm going to his inauguration too.
Wonderful. Trump has found his mark already.

The irony is rich. Canada behaves towards Alberta in a way that looks like the opposite of being a friend. Then is surprised when they realize that Alberta doesn't view the ROC as their friend.
Most people learn these concepts when they are about 5 years old.

Can you go be a traitor to your country elsewhere, please? Pretty please? you can even move to your favourite country. Don't you get it? Nobody agrees with your bull#### opinion except the stupidest person in Canada. Settle down, she's not gonna #### you.

Okay, let’s play a little further, see if we get anywhere. With an energy corridor in place, who is paying for the infrastructure in that corridor to ship product?

“The rest of Canada shouldn’t expect Alberta to act like it’s part of the country it’s part of, as Alberta is busy acting like an adult whose social development halted at five years old” isn’t the glowing commentary of the UCP and far right’s intellect and maturity that he thinks it is.

Without the meddling of FAb groups and the federal environmental lobby, there would be more access to capital.

Nice non answer, ok I will draw two scenarios for you.
Scenario 1 - producers somehow gain confidence and think it’s a great idea to incrementally change production profiles in the basin and make 20-30 year commitments for a new roughly 1 million barrel a day pipeline. This entails new base plants, new upgrades and lots of capital. Problem with this scenario, is despite your assurance capital markets would free up I see zero utterance from the producer market this scenario is even on their radar screen
Scenario 2 - producers are so eager to access a new market they make that commitment with no or very little planned production growth. Production from the basin stays relatively flat, the Enbridge mainline gets decimated as it empties out to fill the take or pay contracts on this new pipeline. They get killed in the markets affecting retirement and pension plans across the country and the producers are paying for a brand new pipeline whose tolls would be very expensive.
It’s the problem I have with people just throwing out some mystical new pipeline access without looking at the mechanics of how it works and the impacts it causes. There are flaws in my scenarios for sure, worthy of discussion and debate.

How Canada deals with Alberta might provide some indication on how the rest of the Western civilization deals with an increasingly unreliable USA.

Did the AB flag get changed? What’s the one next to her name?

She’s a brilliant strategist alright. While the rest of the country is aiming to put the pressure on and play hardball on the tariffs, her plan is to rollover and take it. That’s going to being Trump to negotiate, no question.

That...is weird. I cropped it and image searched and came up with nothing. Probably our new Alberta flag drawn by Preston Manning's son, who will be receiving $2.5 million for it.
Or it's a major ####up and was supposed to be saved for reveal as our new state flag, clearly without St. George's Cross.
Either way, seems pretty presumptuous to officially represent Alberta with something that kinda looks like our flag, but isn't. But this is like, the least important thing she has ever done.

It's buried under the "full statement" of 7 words. Somehow, still manages to sound like a petulant toddler.
