That was a good clip for sure! Although I have never liked him or his policies, the people who put those slogans on their cars and trucks are dumb. People can't stand the man but then proceed to put his name on an expensive vehicle.
Liberal voters turned their nose up at home and voted Trudeau and his corruption back into office.
So please don't give me the 'well if there were a better leader we could vote for' stupidity.
Scheer and O’Toole weren’t serious. As soon as a candidate decides they need to pander to right-wing bozos to try to lock in that really lucrative incel / PPC vote instead of the 95% of the normal people they should be pandering to, they’ve just lost the plot. All the CPC needs to do is shut up and not comment about social issues and not make mountains out of molehills.
I would have no problem voting for CPC if they stopped acting like jokes.

If O'Toole took the same approach as Houston in Nova Scotia he'd still be PM now.
Houston kicked out afar right lunatic out of his party. That far right lunatic has won back to back elections. Meanwhile Houston has won back to back majority governments with the last election being a super-majority.
Lose the battle, win the war.

Yeah, O'Toole blew it by courting the far right when he was so close.
But now it no longer matters. The appetite for the far right, or desperation to remove Trudeau, or both, have grown to the point the CPC doesn't need to worry about it.

I'm saying voters who would have avoided voting O'Toole because of the way he cozy'd up to people like the freedom convoy will look past that sort of thing now.
CPC can now get away with having elements of anti vax, freedom convoy, whatever and it's no longer enough to lose the next election.

Although Pierre's personality and attack dog mentality is beyond tiresome a lot of times, I have no doubt that that if they win the upcoming election they will be a serious party with serious policies.
Ha! Sorry, I live in Alberta...

2016: "Trump is just playing to the base and when he wins he'll be totally reasonable and surround himself with professionals".
It’s funny because even most will-be CPC voters have accepted the fact that Pierre is not going to be good and that all the problems people point out about him are valid, but it’s simply “time for something else.”
And yet there are still a few holding on to this idea that he’s actually going to be totally different than he has shown himself to be and govern totally differently than he’s stated he will.
Feel bad for those people. It’s going to be an embarrassing few years.

Way behind but how can you have a grammatical error in the first principal of how you will run the party. Nit picking but come on.
"A belief in a balance between fiscal responsibility, compassionate social policy that empowers the less fortunate by promotion self-reliance and equality of opportunity, and the rights and responsibilities of individuals, families and free associations."

Guess we’ll see. But the silver lining is that it can’t get worse.

Are you taking the piss?
It can obviously get much worse.
One of my biggest complaints about the current discourse is the notion being put forward that Canada is broken, things are so bad, Trudeau is dancing with the Swifties while Ottawa burns.
Everyone banging on about needing a "serious" government should start being serious themselves instead of making things up.
