The level of collapse for the Liberals is indicative of just how serious they were. They brushed aside so many concerns from so many Canadians that it's no wonder that everything the CPC says, sticks with a lot of Canadians.
The Liberals and Trudeau have been playing theatre for so long, their own team is literally calling out their star player and management.
Even veteran political analysts and pundits are shaking their heads with a reaction of "really?" Things are beyond perplexing for them because of the lack of seriousness associated with events in the last few weeks.

What gives you that impresssion? Was it when he said he’d fire the Bank of Canada governors? Maybe it was when he said we should be investing in Bitcoin and crypto? Maybe it was the idea of pre-emptively suspend charter rights?
I mean come on. This guy is not a serious politician. He is riding the wave of anti-Trudeau sentiment, and I’m not suggesting he loses. It’s just that people are voting against Trudeau and the Liberals more than voting for him or any policy they’ve got planned.

Wait until a campaign starts, and people actually see how unpalatable that wiener really is. But don't take my word for it, take it from someone who worked with him:

Angus posted to Facebook that he would “put country first” and would “not vote with Pierre Poilievre to force an election.” Poilievre’s Conservatives have a massive lead in the polls and would be heavily favoured to win a majority government if an election were held today.

Wonder if he would vote against Singh, or if he is helping to soften the blow of the NDP not supporting non confidence vote. Either way it seems strange.

What policy does he have that people are voting for? Like his axe the tax is fine, but what happens when prices don’t decline? What happens when grocery prices go up another say 2.5% a year during his term?
But sure, he has lots of policies that people have fallen in love with and can’t wait to vote for to see them implemented. We’re just not sure what any of them are.

Strange that he thinks he would “put the country first” by continuing to support a liberal government that only 16% of Canadians would vote for. That’s seems like he is not putting the country first.
Just my opinion.

I personally don’t believe the world is going to end between now and the next scheduled election. If either party can find a better leader by then, I think that’s worth a try. Even though we vote for individual MPs and not the PM directly, we’re still a lot like the US and are basically voting for the leader. The LPC and CPC aren’t entirely garbage. They can surely find somebody within their ranks that isn’t cringe. The biggest concern now is dealing with the US. I’d appreciate somebody who isn’t going to kowtow to the POTUS like he’s a demigod, but not antagonize needlessly either. If Polievre is heir apparent, it would be nice if he stood up tor Canada instead of humming and hawing whenever the incoming POTUS makes a derogatory joke about Canada. It’s like watching George McFly interacting with Biff.

I suspect that no matter what PP is thinking, he would probably hurt himself in the polls rather than help. Best he keeps semi-quiet and let the Liberals and NDP do all the talking. Seems every time they open their mouths they drop in the polls, so let them do the heavy lifting for you.

I just don't see anyone in the current Liberal Bench that is going to gain back the trust of Canadian voters.

The bloc have been the official opposition previously.

Polls are usually inaccurate.
But when it’s 241 to 6. You can probably put some money on the conservatives.

By all account Trudeau is going to double down even more.
Hard to see this getting any better for the Liberals.
