I’m not sure how Musk didn’t see this coming? He left Trump’s advisory board on environmental issues back in 2017, did he think this would go differently when it comes to immigration, an American hot topic?!

Trump got 77M votes...still well below Biden's 81M

Harris was a bad candidate but Trump didn't do anything special or earth shattering...there was no "mandate" I don't remember Biden having a mandate to do whatever he likes because the people have spoken ect.

Trump won because he said he’s sending them back. Not sure how they didn’t see this coming.

Hopefully Musk is rounded up by the border czar’s

Would be hilarious if Tom Homan on day 1 turns around and arrests Musk and send him to a detention camp.

Depending on where they send him because one his options might be here...

Remember when Kamala Harris 'demolished' Trump during that debate? Pepperidge Farms remembers...

Harris didn't really run any sort of woke campaign but the policies she pursued prior to her being the nominee, while VP and as a Senator are very well known. The Democrats and a lot of progressive ideas that are outside of the mainstream thought have come back to bite them badly and now internally there is debate and about this and that. She really didn't have any sort of counter to that.

There was an ad campaign that ran during the campaign for Trump that showed Harris openly talking about gender surgery for inmates in prison. That ad is being talked about as being a game changing ad in a tight election. The Democrats couldn't come up with a proper response because the response tested so poorly the strategy was to take the political beating instead of "offending" people on the left and enraging Republican's even more.

Democrats and Liberals in America need to have a serious internal look at what has happened to their party. Democrats have allowed such a beatable person in Trump to take over the Washington twice. They have done so poorly in so many areas it's shocking.

The piece posted earlier about the lack of give a **** factor with the Teamster's Union is indicative of how badly run the Democrats are. They still can't understand why Obama voters in rustbelt states voted strongly for a 3rd time for Trump.
It's more than that. Forget policy...

Who was excited about Kamala Harris!? Anyone?

People were excited about Obama the person in 2008, not his policies.

It was said like she didn't.

Every incumbent government has fallen. It wasn't on Harris, who did better than any other example.

I was; she is smart, educated, well-spoken, had solid economic and political policies, and generally stood exactly where I would expect as the most important leader in the most impactful country in the free world.

Instead, the orange orangutan dictator managed to play on people's deep-seeded discriminatory emotions, overpromised on everything possible that he would do, and falsely laid blame to every Dem he could in any opportunity. It worked, and now the worst president in American history is about to become president again.

That said, 'exciting' should hardly be the word that should be a go-to to describe, and align with, a person in charge of countless important national and international policies; and yet here America is, who literally ####ed around and is about to find out; this time likely even worse.

I was too. I think she would have been a very good president and I looked forward to a woman president. The U.S. broke the racial barrier and it’s time to break the gender barrier. Lord knows the men are f’ng things up. (I’m a man.)

I wasn't excited per se (she herself claimed she would've done nothing different from Biden even though he had his hiccups), but I acknowledge that it would've been a positive step forward to have a female president in office.

The US choosing a real politician (irregardless of gender) over the obviously fake promises of the reality TV showman/narcissist would also restore some of my faith in humanity, even if I don't think Kamala and Tim would deviate much from what we've seen for four years.

Sorry, but as long as the DEm candidate wasn't an adjudicated rapist/convicted felon/con man/serial liar/alleged pedeophile/mental 4-year old, there's just no sane arguing that she should have lost.

The two most qualified candidates in the last several elections have been women and both lost to Trump. Disgusting.

A lot of people.

Donald did what Donald does best, he spoke to the extremists about things they hate the most and won.

Harris wasn't exciting. The Democrats didn't run an exciting campaign. There was way too much emphasis on abortion, Trump is bad for democracy, he is crazy and scary. Although I tend to agree on the above points, how many times are you going to say it? A 100, a 1000, a million? Some people were kind of excited at the start about getting rid of Biden who was clearly mentally and physically done as President. She had the goodwill and the momentum at the start but it quickly fizzled.

Harris and the Democrats played the game not to loose and they lost badly. I mean she was being handled away from a lot of mainstream media outlets for fear of bad exposure. Out of the 100 day campaign, she may have avoided press conferences, interviews and such 40-50% of the time.

I said it probably 2 years ago, the Democrats need to stop the nonsense and the BS. Going on and on and on about how bad Trump was but telling us all that Biden was the best person for the job. Nobody was buying that. We literally went from reports about Biden being sharper than a tact, a level of vitality and energy that is the envy of the White House to an official report to Governors that the key forward for Biden (post debate) was more nap, less work at night, earlier bedtimes and nothing scheduled past 8 pm. That was not a joke, this was not the schedule of a toddler. This was an official statement from the head of the largest, most powerful country the world has ever known.

Trump is and was beyond beatable. Coming up with the strategy that the Democrats keep coming with is beyond pathetic. Focus on people, focus on jobs, focus on the little guy

Trump just shone a light on American society.

Why did it seem like racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny and xenophobia were decreasing? To some extent, people's views did change, but a lot of it was the critical mass of those people caused it to be socially unacceptable to be those things.

Trump set an example that it was ok to tell the world how you truly feel, and a bunch of people were relieved to finally be able to show what they really thought.

He told them he was deporting them all. He forgot to tell them he’s replacing them with different immigrants.

Now the hatred has turned towards Musk and Indians.

Now Steve Bannon is an ally of the black people
