That would take up so much room. You could fit 30 urinals in the space you would need for 10 gender neutral bathrooms.

Plants in the concourse solves that

One thing I found funny is the AHL dressing room is slightly bigger than the NHL one. I assume that's because the AHL doesn't have the same roster limits the NHL does, so they may need to fit more players in the room.

Seems like a long walk to the ice. Then again I have no idea if that's standard for nhl facilities.
Rip players hobbling off to the room after tweaking something.

The outside is a huge improvement as well. It looks much better and much less like a ####ty rural arena wearing some sort of hat. Will actually compliment the BMO center and nearby library in design it seems, for example.

For the Flames, it looks like it's a little bit more than the width of the rink... likely a little over 100 feet. I don't think it's much more than what they have to walk in the Dome.
The Hitmen will have the longest walk. Good thing they're young and spry.

For many public washroom scenarios, this makes a ton of sense.
I agree for a stadium, not as much because urinals are so damn space efficient. In parts of the world they have urinals in the street, and I'm not too concerned about a woman walking behind me while I'm at the urinal. Personally there would be no problem using a urinal in a gender neutral bathroom.

That was a lifetime ago. The economics of the NHL are different now.
More seats = cheaper seats which of course is a non-starter. Murray Edwards needs to eat too.

100% he has no idea what a gender neutral bathroom actually is.

Correct.
Only suite with its own washroom is the double owners suite.
