This is why it's so frustrating talk to people like you. You say you want stuff, but then support the people working against it. You won't ever point out any of these pretty ####ty things the Republicans do, but if the Democrats mention DEI or something, they are instantly the worst people on earth and in no way should lead. It's the double standard, and complete unwillingness to open your eyes and see the world as it is that is why you get the responses you do. And I'm sorry you are taking the brunt of it, but you so perfectly encapsulate the problem.

Ahhh, I think your confusing some things Fuzz. I am not Pro Trump, anti vax, pro RFK or any of that stuff. I also think Harris and the Democrats are perioral losers who really don't know how to actually fight back either.
I like independent thought, I look at policies, outcomes, leaders, leadership, issues and more. I am not a one size fits all person. If you actually knew me and who I am as a person, you would know that I try to take the bias out.
I did not want Trump to win, trust me I prayed differently but I am not surprised he did for a variety of reasons. I try not to take the bias out and look at things pragmatically as well. I also know what sells, even if it's BS. The name of the game is getting voters out.
Republicans and Democrats have been going on and on for a million years about comprehensive boarder reform. The same losers who can't figure it out on both sides. Trump says he builds a wall and he get's voted in. It's different, people don't talk and act like that. I am not saying a border wall happened or would solve anything but it works.
RFK says he is going to fire everybody at the FDA and people should pay attention. The reason why that works is that nobody thinks things are going good in America with Foods or Drugs or anything like that. I am not vouching for this policy or for him but I can see how it works.

Republicans have yet to really deal Obama care the blow they all thought they would because they don't have answers to the issues that American's face. Democrats pretended like illegal immigration wasn't an issue until the electorate keeps sending them messages from every corner of America that it does matter.
Just look at the finger pointing in Democratic circles now with this colossal disaster that they are in. The same people who told us Joe Biden was the sharpest world leader and all blaming him for not dropping out earlier cause it was obvious he was in decline. I literally have been on this thread posting about the dangers of a Trump 2nd term and people were wrighting things off.
A lot of people keep calling Republicans stupid but it does seem they are playing the political game a lot better, no? The reverse is true in Canadian politics. Trudeau is/was so beatable but they kept sending in loser after loser after loser with loser campaigning and are shocked they lost to another loser (Trudeau)
Meanwhile Pierre is campaigning a lot smarter, will probably win a term and that may be it for him. Carney will come along and call it a day.
When you take out bias in political analysis, you look at things more clearly. American support for Ukraine was a big selling point for Trump voters and they are clearly right. Why is American spending billions of dollars there and we have a result where Ukraine will probably lose? The strong leadership policy for Biden was to knock it out of the park and put Putin in place, not dither on every single thing for a result nobody in the western world wants. It's a shocking thing then that America now voted for what is perceived as a stronger leader? I am not saying Trump is the guy but he will push one way or another and will push hard.
I see how you post in the Israeli/Hammas thread. Knowing your posting history and views on it, you can't sit here and tell me that Biden/Harris don't come off weak as hell in that category. Pathetic like no other. They literally they can't get anything done there other than ditter and make vailed threats to Israel and Hammas while everybody is dying. We already know what kind of actions Trump/Israel will do and I don't agree with them most likely but at least decisions will be rendered.
I am not a homer when it comes to my politics nor my sports. I call out my side politically all the time and I actually say it straight up that my hockey team who I love (Flames) are hot garbage, poorly managed and run
