Prediction: Desperate for a top four defenseman, the Oilers sign Tony Deangelo (currently a top player in the KHL). Of course he’ll have to pass through waivers, but in turn will be claimed by someone else,LOL.

Nobody saw this coming or thought signing high scoring 2-way specialist Jeff Skinner was a bad idea. That's okay they can just trade him for Andersson Petterson or Murphy.

That seems to be the thing that eludes Matheson and their media. The Oilers have probably less trade capital than any other team in the league right now.

Rasmus also has a modified no trade clause that started this year. You can be he asked if all the teams can be Edmonton and Vancouver.

By traded do they mean waived and sent to the minors or put on LTIR, cause no one is going about acquiring Jeff Skinner from the Oilers.

They have nothing of interest, with his contract perhaps trade him Ras for Bouchard and a pick so they can keep the window open. They have nothing else of interest.
