The only good news to report is that 2 time loser Kari Lake is about to lose the senate race with Ruben Gallego. At the same time, Elon Musk’s “Election Integrity Community" is claiming that the only Lake could lose is by election fraud.
Hmm lots of weird #### today. Elmo using Starlink garbage in the swing states. Harris campaign in major debt.
The uneducated, gullible folks giving in to misinformation and concocting some conspiracy theory around Starlink rigging the election is some flat earth level stuff.

Ugh...get ready for the Scopes Monkey Trial 2.0. An entire generation is about to be taught vastly different perspectives on evolution and climate change depending on the school district they belong to.
Perhaps everyone should brush up on a classic in anticipation of these events:

Yeah, the debt thing was surprising to hear considering I thought I recalled hearing about record donations raised by the Harris campaign. Sort of related, there's apparently a "Harris for President's Recount Account" that donations from supporters get funneled to, which explains why #Recount2024 was trending the day after the election. The WSJ is reporting that this was a recent change, so I'm guessing the plan is to use those funds to try and get back into the black, as I can't imagine there's any real plan to do any recounting.
The Harris Victory Fund—a joint fundraising committee that allocates contributions to her campaign, the Democratic National Committee and to state Democratic committees—quietly updated the information on its donations page on Wednesday morning. The donation page now says that a portion of money donated to the fund will be allocated to "Harris for President's Recount Account, " signaling that Kamala Harris's team is gearing up to watch the count of votes in contested states closely.
The first $41,300/$15,000 from a person/multicandidate committee (“PAC”) will be allocated to the DNC. The next $3,300/$5,000 from a person/PAC will be allocated to Harris for President’s Recount Account.
Good read in the expected results of the tariffs, and how they didn't have the benefits Trump expected last time.
If tariffs resulted in resulted in the 'average' American family paying $1700 a year more in increased cost of living, but income taxes were reduced to the average American family by $1700 (using the money collected in tariffs to fund the tax break), who is paying the tariff then?

You have to be a next level idiot to think Starlink is a bad thing. Hate Elon and his politics all you want, but Starlink is objectively a great thing for this world.

Election interference and working Russia is cool and all.

I have starlink. If a tree gets in its way, it's unreliable. And it's ####ing expensive.

It's a big meh from me.
Darn, you’re right, totally unacceptable to be inconvenienced by a tree. They should just scrap it and wait for the telecom companies to build high speed internet infrastructure to all rural areas and communities.
In not saying it doesn't work, im just saying it's unreliable with small obstructions. If you have dedicated satellites pointing at your location, fill your boots.
I find it hilarious how certain posters were absent from this thread for so long but suddenly returned to gloat like they actually did something. lol
Keep it up, guys.
when interest rates go back to 10%, the US is imploding due to the cancellation of all fed healthcare and the world economy is looking shaky I'm sure they will slink away again
