You have the question backwards what gives the Justice apartment any right to go there? The answer is the voting rights act.
https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/justi...ng-rights-laws
But if a court rules certain aspects of the act unconstitutional then the Justice department has no right to be there.

Pete is 42. In 12 or 16 years, if he's been in public service the whole time, he will be enough of a household name and the country might have come far enough for him to be on a presidential ticket. I just think it is much easier for that country to elect a black person or a woman than a gay man, sadly.
This cycle he would have been the wrong choice because he has a very party-loyalist sort of vibe about him and it would have hit like "there she goes back to the party establishment". They needed a swing state governor and there were really only 4 options there, and once you decide it needs to be a blue wall governor, only two.

And exactly how is that going to happen before an election tmrw? Looking at your posts I am assuming you are a republican supporter?

The justice department does not have "military guys with guns" on hand to enforce their will, genius. It is a government agency like any other. The military doesn't operate on US soil, for one thing, and they certainly don't take direction from the DOJ.

According to the internet, only 7 countries have had openly gay leaders.
Latvia (elected by the public)
Iceland (elected by the public)
Belgium (elected by the public)
Luxembourg (elected by the public)
Serbia (PM nominated by the outgoing PM, and confirmed by the legislative assembly)
Ireland (elected by the public)
San Marino (elected by the public)
Norway had an acting PM who was gay.
The Canary Islands, which is not fully independent, had a gay president, but he wasn't openly out at the time.
My gut tells me it won't happen in the U.S. for quite some time, but I also didn't think they would elect a non-white president in my life time, but that happened. My gut is 0-1 so far.

Ok, we have these US martials that say otherwise. Also genius, didn't the Supreme Court rule that presidents can do whatever they want? What do you mean the military doesn't operate on US soil? Are you saying the military has no power in their own country? Lmao. The DOJ is headed by the Attorney General, who answers to the President of the United States who can order.... Wait for it...the military.

While I wouldn't under-estimate them, the Proud Boys have a sufficient number of loose-lipped followers to sink themselves. Lone Wolf acts are a concern though.

It scares me that millions of people are going to vote for a man that is clearly unhinged and quite crazy. Wtf is wrong with society? How in the hell did we get to this point?

They have always been around. Trump just gave them a platform so they could come out of their moms basement.

Not sure how you would assume I’m a republican supporter. Mostly I’ve just posted about polling recently.
Missouri is looking to get an injunction. Texas and Florida appear to have decided to just not let them so it’s the Justice department that would need an injunction to force the state to let them in.

How would the justice department need an injunction when the act clearly states they are allowed in?

If the election security and police of the city or state don’t let them in what are they going to do?
Missouri already did it in 2022

The lawsuit states that Missouri law “permits only certain categories of persons to be present in voting locations, including voters, minor children accompanying voters, poll workers, election judges, etc." and not federal officials.
The Justice Department also sought to monitor polling places in Missouri in 2022. The agency planned to have officials at Cole County, which includes Jefferson City, the state capital. County Clerk Steve Korsmeyer said he wouldn’t let them in if they show up.
The federal agency backed down after Ashcroft showed Justice Department officials the state law, Ashcroft said. He says the Justice Department is now “trying to go through the back door" by contacting local election officials for access.
