It's so frustrating navigating healthcare, which seems to be my life.
Two months after breaking my foot, still can't bend my knee. Had a private MRI Friday, a few hours later the report goes to MyAHS: torn PCL. $675.
X-Rays on Sept. 3 (hospital), Sept. 17, Oct. 18.; Ultrasound on Oct. 20-something; Bone Spect CT on Oct. 20-something - all of which didn't diagnose the problem, simply ruled things out or pointed out all the fluid in my knee. No idea what these cost the system, but I suspect it's considerably more than $675.

Its funny that you mention that.
I have to go for an MRI in December and they tell me:
"We're pretty sure what its going to show, its just to confirm what we think we already know. So, you can wait until December or pay to get it done sooner."
Me: "Will the results alter my treatment in any way?"
"Nope."
Then I guess we wait.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
Me too...but I own the Business so nothing is technically 'free.'
Start a company. Get a company credit card. Pay for everything on the company credit card. Have the company declare bankruptcy and wipe out all debts. Repeat.
For added protection, make the head of the company a canary. Or whatever kid you like the least. You’re just the humble money man, you tried to warn them but they just wouldn’t listen!

I’m the opposite. Was supposed to get the heart chopped in October. Still no date for the pre angiogram. They can delay this for years for all I care.
