Needs 41 to tie Gretzky.
Feels unlikely this season? Although perhaps motivation drives him more at this point that it's within reach.
Not sure about the offseason given the video memes about his weight.

He knows Washington will keep signing him to contracts to hit the record. Keeps getting money in his pocket, mutual want to hit that. After he gets the record Washington says you can retire now

Ovi is already the greatest goal scorer of all time. Without the lockouts, this season would have been his victory lap, and next season just gravy. Maybe even chasing 1000.
Be that as it may, he won't even take down that picture. So #### him.
