@Blue Jackets
@Preds
@Flames
I’m guessing the Pred’s will beat them as well. Guessing they go 2-2 in that stretch of games.

We are advised that he chose money over winning.

We know with the oilerz fanbase, you should take a discount because Mavi, and then you should sit down and shut up.

I actually wonder what mavi’s role was here; it seemed like there were moves made to get Broberg signed and cap space created, and in the end they lost Ceci and a 3rd round pick to get emberson…

It’s not 1 for 1, but it’s close.

Ceci, 3rd round, Broberg, Holloway for emberson, a 2nd and a 3rd. 3rds wash so:

Ceci, Broberg, Holloway (3 nhl players) for emberson (already in the press box) and a 2nd.

Oilerz math!

Mavi calls the shots, Broberg probably said something that didn’t sit right with Mavi and Mavi sewered him. Keep note, all decisions have zero to do with the team and 100% to do with appeasing Mavi.

Probably the single biggest example of entitlement the NHL has ever seen.

Didn’t dig in right now enough.

He did take “let’s go” onboard with Holloway though!

Gretzky was super entitled himself. He called all the shots in LA and brought in former Oiler after former Oiler, trying to reignite the run and gun team he had in Edmonton instead of developing a balanced team. That's why he couldn't win the final 11 years of his career.

At least in Edmonton, everyone knew Sather was in charge. After Gretzky left, he was in charge (except maybe in St. Louis).

The picture they picked is especially ironic. I'm sure I'm far from the only person on here that has walked from the background of this picture (downtown) to the foreground (Commonwealth). The bulk of this photo is actually a decrepit zombie wasteland that would make any tourist truly question if they were in a first world country.

I walked this in the winter to go see Canada play Costa Rica in the World Cup qualifiers. I live a ten minute walk from the Drop In Centre in Calgary, so I'm pretty accustomed to walking through some rough scenes, but this party of Edmonton was just next level. While not necessarily feeling unsafe, it was definitely getting to the point of "walking through this much squalor and misery is uncomfortable".

Haha they can't just play the mediocre team. Also have to have them come in tired to ensure the desired result.

Even then, took OT.

The Coilers have needed OT for 50% of their wins so far this season.

You are probably reading this thread right now and wondering about just how valuable all of the depth signings have been; you know, the ones where veterans took discounts and were really looking to play with Mavi and pad the stats for the next contract.

Well, it’s all gone a bit “save the coach” and the “nuclear option”.

In the most recent demolition of the red wings, Draisatl (don’t know if you heard this, but it was his birthday) got 3 points, boo-boo, Edholm, and mavi got 2 points each.

That’s it; that’s the list.

That’s some total derpth right there.

Not even sure if the hhof bound tenderness is playing any more.

But the Cup parade is back on though right?

RNH and Hyman (or as I like to call them, Tender-Hyman) have a combined 1 goal, in 9 games, flanking McDavid.

I am pretty sure that any two of us on CP could lace 'em for 9 games, flanking McDavid, and manage more goals than that.

Ahahahahahaha!!!!! "We sent McDavid back to Edmonton for re-evaluation."

If I have a choice of Hospitals.

1. Edmonton

2. Columbus.

I'm going to the Hospital in Columbus.
