No way the Utah’s trade Iginla for Andersson straight up. When was the last time a recent top 6 pick was traded for someone 28 or older?

I would add the NJ 1st, Vegas 1st, or prospect like Gridin+ 2nd

I would look for ways to bridge the gap if Utah showed any inclination they would move Iginla

What is the hit/miss ratio for every NHL team? They must like the kids they draft, or they wouldn't have picked them. What is the hit/miss ratio on all 224 prospects drafted each year? I rarely have the opportunity to post about prospects I don't like, I only talk about the ones I do.

Man, what a dink you are.
Wow
You certainly didn’t deserve that. In my opinion you are one of the most valuable posters here.

Personally, I do find Sandman is over positive when reflecting on prospects. However, I usually chalk that up to their enthusiasm and love for prospects, which is totally fine.

Krebs is not someone I would pursue. But if Buffalo is looking to make a change, Krebs for Pelletier is a fair trade for both teams

(if BUF is coming to us, we don't need to add. If we were going to them, it would take more than Pelts - maybe a 3rd or 4th)

Pelletier > Krebs, in my opinion.

Prospects are, by definition, a pursuit in optimism - you are LITERALLY chasing potential.

To say that Sandman is overly optimistic, or - to be a complete #### and suggest he has mostly misses - completely misses the point of what prospect evaluation is (it is the evaluation of potential, if you're still not sure).

Most of all though, criticizing anyone who is freely bringing information to a message board, purely for YOUR reading pleasure, WITHOUT COMPENSATION OR RECOGNITION, is rude, petty, selfish and childish. Grow the #### up.

If you don't like what he writes, simply skip over it. But NO ONE wants to hear you whine about it.

You can always tell too. They show up, new user, and immediately show up in every 2nd post and have an opinion on everything.

Every single time. The returning user can't help themselves, like they're shot out of a cannon.

I really don't see Utah moving Iginla.
I don't think they're Vegas. Want to win now? Sure, but I get the feeling that their first ever draft pick means more to them organizationally than it did the Golden Knights.

It's numpties like that, that kill all the good things about online communities. Completely unwarranted jabs at positive contributors.

Literally the embodiment of the old catchphrase "this is why we can't have nice things"

I swear to god if we lose Sandmans contributions because of this clown I'll lose my marbles.

It's dividing by 0. Internet ass never goes out in public.

I would prefer that the Flames Don't involve Andersson in any package for a young Center. If the Flames want an accelerated turn around Andersson will be an important part of it.

Y’all take this stuff way too seriously. I’m very sure Sandman is not considering quitting the forum because someone said “oooof” to his prospect evaluation, and negative but orherwise soft comments certainly aren’t killing all the good things. There’s a couple posters in FOI that say worse to people literally every day.

Y’all also abused Scorp constantly and look at him now! He’s the best!

Not defending Jung here, Sandman’s prospect evaluations are how I learn basically anything about a prospect, but let’s not overreact.

Obviously, he doesn't help us win now, but with all the talk of our organization being devoid of center depth, his name would sure look good in our prospect list.

He's a big C who moves well, and plays a physical game with an edge. 7 games, with 8 points so far in the WHL.
I do like Beaudoin, think he can become a solid physical 2nd line C if he reaches his potential.

I think we just are overly protective of the ones who contribute more than the average poster and will stick up for them when attacked. Especially when it pertains to the things they contribute.

There are a lot of negative nellies around here but some deserve more scorn than others lol.

Hahaha. I don't think we did a good enough job on scorp, he is still sus .

Plus, Scorp was literally raising a child in an internet village, returning banned posters who go after net positive contributors unwarranted like that aren't the same thing.

But you're right, we should all let the nihalism blanket us all because at the end of the day, none of it matters, you don't matter, I don't matter, we all just fade into the void after the short blip we call life.

That's ultimately up to Rasmus. Which should be considered heavily. Does he want to stick around for the retool? Is the cost to keep him worth it long term?

Plenty of factors will go into this before it's said and done. I think the conversations about using Raz as a trade asset are fair. I'd be happy to see him stay but I understand why he may be moved too.
