It probably comes down to where the slim win is.
If Harris slimly wins 6 or 7 of the 7, then everyone probably just packs up and goes home.
If Harris wins Penn, Mich, Nev... Then Trump probably loses 75 court cases and there is a riot at the capital that gets put down within an hour this time because the country currently has a leader (unlike last time).
If Harris wins Gorg, Ari+.. Then Trump probably has a crazy judge rule that he actually won, then I don't see a narrative that doesn't end in all out civil strife.
If Trump wins, they probably hand power back to him, I'm not entirely certain that's the sensible action, but it's what they'll do.

But, as cheese posted, I don't think it matters what term you use. It's still the woman's choice, and the law should be clear on that.

Fair enough, it was mostly to counter this post, where a "baby" should get a say inside their mothers womb at 21 weeks.

When is a baby viable (with help of course) outside the womb? Earliest reports in the NICU are 21 weeks? That when the baby should get a say. No provinces in Canada offer abortion on request at 24 weeks and beyond, unless there are extreme medical complications. That seems reasonable, more so than late into the 3rd trimester decided by the mom.

Hopefully his behaviour this last few weeks can turn that around, but it seems to being going the opposite direction. Seriously WTF is going on in that country.

I really don't know what the democrats were thinking by rallying around another female candidate to beat Trump after the last one failed miserably, America really doesn't seem ready for a woman president. I'd love to eat my hat in a few weeks and be proven wrong, but with how more deranged Trump is now vs 2016 there is no reason for this race to be as tight as it is. If you flip the ticket around and Walz is running for the top spot I think it would be a democratic landslide

Record numbers for early voting
People need to stop treating polls like the gospell, especially in this day and age
Good news is the polls scare dems into voting

Early voting and mail-in ballots usually favour the Dems, so record turnout in the first couple of days is good news. Let’s just hope it keeps up.
And as silly as it sounds, we shouldn’t overlook the Taylor Swift/Billie Eilish effect. If their combined endorsements can help motivate hundreds of thousands of young people (especially young women) to register and vote, that could potentially make a big difference in the swing states.

Kamala went on Fox today and was 'interviewed' by Brett Baier (every clip I saw he kept interrupting her). From what I saw she did very well, not a chance in hell Trump would ever sit down with Maddow or someone for an hour, he's too cowardly.
Found this tweet pretty funny, and about right.

Trump sat down with Bloomberg’s John Micklethwait, I don't see your point other than adding fuel to the fire.
Rhetoric like this is exactly why I am living in this mess.

You don't see the difference of the Bloomberg interview vs the Baier one from today? The endless interrupting and the attempted 'gotcha' comments on a right wing propaganda channel? There's a big massive difference.
The rhetoric that is hurting you country isn't coming from a small town guy in B.C. posting on a Flames hockey forum.

If you can't see how your behaviour is part of the problem, then you are beyond help.
Enjoy small town BC, guy.

I don't see how I'm part of the problem. Canadian citizen, can't vote, my social influence online is 0%. We're just a bunch of strangers discussing things on a hockey board, that's it.
I do enjoy small town B.C., so thanks? It's pretty nice here.

Wait, so quoting a relatively well known parody social media account is part of the problem?

I can't believe a grown adult would blame a random internet person for their crap drama filled life.
Just FYI - The twitter post was a joke because all of you tea party people that said for weeks and weeks was how Kamala wouldn't do interviews.
So she went on fox of all places, then not more than 1 hour from that, here you are proving the parody post correct and whining and blaming already, lol. You didn't even reference what happened in the interview, i'm sure you didn't even watch it. Just whine, blame others, and stay ignorant, its working for ya..but its definitely you who are beyond help it seems. Blame like this is called beta in your circles?

Not even remotely close to the same situation and yet another interview where Trump's feet were not held to the fire.

What a guy on a hockey board in Canada says has little to do with the mess the United States has become. What someone says in Canada doesn't even register in the United States at all, even the Prime minister. It just doesn't matter because Americans don't care what people from other nations think, unless they are a Russian bot of course. Only how those comments affect feelings allows it to matter to you, nothing more.
If you are looking for reasons why there is a fire in the first place you can look at the difference in how the two candidates are treated and how THAT contributes fuel to the tire fire that is burning. If you stripped away the names and personalities and just looked at what has been said by the candidates there is no way this would be a race. One candidate is spewing nonsense word salad, refuses to talk policy (actually distances themselves from the very framework they would implement on day one), and is really showing all the classical signs of cognitive decline, while the other is being held to a much different and higher standard even though they have some actual (limited) policy positions outlined and can speak cogently. The fact they are held to such different standards is actually the fuel you're looking for.

Trump has really pulled ahead in the betting markets. He's up to -182 to win the election now. It was even about three weeks ago. Harris is at +154.

I think everyone had better be prepared for a Trump win. I’m not saying it’s a certainty but it’s pretty likely right now. The reasons are hard to explain and fathom but the US is gonna give this one more try it looks like.
