So, if you at all like JRPGs in general, you need to be playing Metaphor. It's a masterpiece. They've taken the Persona formula and placed it in a great fantasy world, built on it, layered in a job system (instead of monster/demon catching), and have a super intriguing story with great characters and fantastic voice-acting.
It wasn't directed at you specifically, more the 'royal' you. But yes, you should play it eventually too. I'd drop the FFVII remake(s) to play it, personally. It's way better (and not embarassed to be an RPG like Final Fantasy is these days)
I'll be playing it for sure, but for now I'm playing through the Fire Emblem series including translated versions of the games that were only released in Japan.
I'm also playing Balatro. It got released on Apple Arcade and I've been playing on iPhone. I don't know what differences it has from PC/console versions, but it's fun to pick up and play for a short time.

I loved it. It's a great tactical strategy game. The battles take place automatically using rules you set up for each character, which might or might not be fun for you. The story is kinda cliche too but I didn't find it boring. It is beautiful and the battles are amazing.

I want to play Metaphor so bad, but I'm trying to clear my backlog first.
I'm nearing the end of Daybreak, then I've got a bit of Reverie to clear off, and next on the list was P3:R.
It's hard being a JRPG fan right now - I don't have enough time to play all of the great games that are coming out!

Great problem to have, don't rush too much gotta enjoy them.
Never bought Factorio but looks like they have a new release. I forgot they refuse to ever have a sale, maybe get it through Humble where they do a discount with their sub thingy.
Space Marines 2 is fun but get real grindey real quick. Whole game feels like a DLC but still is a great time especially if you’re into 40k. Can’t speak on PVP as I would rather eat glass than play anything PVP but the PVE is alright. About a 10 hour main game and six PVE maps. Maybe don’t pay $70 for it but I’d get it on sale for sure. Who doesn’t want to be a space marine?
Talking to myself but praise the emperor! The developer didn’t love the review bombing and negative press their foolish updates made to the game and they rolled it back to the pre patch game and buffed bolters (among other changes but you can read patch notes if you care). Who knew the game is for the players and not the devs? Crazy thought.
