Don't confuse the poster with facts that contradict his narrative.

The Sharks still suck. Blew a 4-1 lead.

I assume he missed the overseas games that were last weekend before the preseason had even ended. Probably an honest mistake it was kinda odd.

4 points in 2 games for Lindholm. Nice to see he's not mailing it in for his new team.

I said it before, both Holloway and Broberg will bloom now that they are away from the no goods.

Just reinforces he was indeed pouting when the Flames wouldn't give him 9Mx8 and half assing it out there. Lame.

I’m pulling for Florida to go deep into the playoffs so that pick is late… assuming the flames pick will be in the top 10. I guess if the flames end up finishing outside the bottom 10 in the league, we might want Florida to do poorly - but not so poorly that the Florida pick is in the top 10 - because then it means the flames don’t get a 1st round pick in the 2025 draft at all I think.

I hate that trade so much.
It’s angst inducing and I hate it too.

What did give me comfort was when someone posted this link. If you get concerned after only one game, you can rest assured that if the league ended today, Montreal would get the Florida pick. I’m pretty confident that things will change.

Oddly enough, the 3 picks are back to back to back. Mtl (fla pick) at 21, flames (nj) at 22, flames at 23.

I tried playing hockey on paper once. The skates cut it up in a way no Zamboni can fix. Confetti everywhere.

On the bright side, now I don't have to spend money on one of those industrial-strength shredders.

The Penguins woke up by scoring 6 goals on the Red Wings in their win. Beauvilier with 2 goals and Malkin with 2 assists.

The Bruins win 6-4 over the Habs. Swayman was in net for the Bruins and Lindholm had 3 points.

IMO, the Sabres are the poster child for why you keep vets around - you need pros to show the kids how to be an NHLer, and what it takes to win.

The Sabres have a culture of losing, and no matter how many talented young kids they bring in, the results are the same.
