Same. Never enjoyed the guys body of work. Nothing against him but he has always seemed out to lunch.
I have lots against him. Not only is he the worst pbp guy in all of sports, he’s a genuinely ####ty human being. An obnoxious self obsessed petty little man. He’s made every series he calls unwatchable.
Costas is mid 70s, not sure why still calling games. It's becuase Kenny Albert is now doing hockey and can't call playoff baseball.
Anyways, I don't hate the Yanks as much as some, just glad to see them out the Royals and their idiot fans.
Jays got robbed of a WS, probably a WS win the last time KC was in the playoffs, in game 6 of the LCS.
Neckbeard reaching over the wall to get a HR that wasn't and then the ump changing the strike zone in the 8th and 9th on the Jays. Jays would've won that, they were winning game 7.
Royals sweot the Mets and no reason the Jays wouldn't have.
Me too. In retrospect in was the Teoscar trade that started souring me on the BJ's Front Office. I'm not sure I've given them the benefit of any doubt (nor do I think they deserve the benefit of any doubt) on any transaction since.
Gonna be 26 of the final 27 innings scoreless for the Padres, and even that one inning required a defensive meltdown by the Dodgers. Pretty pathetic exit for the Pads.

Yeah. Screw the Dodgers. But hard to feel bad for the Padres with the likes of Machado and the cheater Tatis on the team. Seems like the baseball gods answered for all the cheating on the basepaths that led to that big inning the other night.
MLB salivating at the prospect of a Dodgers vs Yankees WS.

That series was anticlimactic. The first couple games were some of the most exciting baseball I've seen, but the end of the series was bot very interesting. The Padres going scoreless for all those innings in a row didn't help, but even the Dodgers only scored on two low-emotion solo HR.
Side note, I did some consulting work for Marathon Petroleum for about 7 months a year ago (that's the logo on the left side of the Guardians jersey). That's a very rich company.
