anyone else kinda want a Dodgers vs Royals World Series... for no other reason than to guarantee the 975th year in a row that a Will Smith wins the World Series?

There’s no “Process of the Catch” in baseball?

Doesn’t seem close at all. Catch.

Here's hoping Dodgers get eliminated tonight and Yankees go on the brink.

To me if I had money in an account, I'd still wager LA comes back and wins the series. Simply put, the umps know the rating would be better with Ohtani up there each game. That's sports entertainment these days.

Interesting turn of events. The phillies had a tailor made double play ball and they opted to go home with it and save the 1-0 lead. If they turned 2 it would have been a tie game but you could pitch around Lindor. They played with fire and now the Mets are up big and likely moving on.

Diaz might choke it away for the Mets, can't find the plate.

You would be betting against the trend. This is the 3rd year of this format. In the NL, the 1 and 2 seeds who get a bye have never advanced. 0 for 5. LA on the brink.

You are better off taking the Dodgers just tonight. They are huge underdogs, LA bullpen against Dylan Cease

Stanton being on second and the only highly likely way he scores is a home run is hilarious.

If the Jays somehow land Soto I'd be stoked. But on the high chance that he doesn't he's a very easy player to dislike. Plays a terrible RF and his Soto shuffle and the way he pimps a walk is tiring.

Jays have to be the highest bidder by a lot but having Vlad will be a positive, those guys are friends.
He's a very patient hitter for a slugger.

Didn't see the Stanton redemption arc to save the Yankees season coming.

Stepping away from the playoffs for a second, looks like The Trop couldn't handle a hurricane

The box score for Chris Taylor is wild. CF-3B-CF-LF. Keke Hernández 3B-CF-3B.

Yeah, that's crazy.

Although I admit I'm sort of hoping for the storyline where they buy the Vegas Aviators ballpark from Ackman and move to Vegas before the A's can...

Was Bob Costas ever a good play-by-play guy, always thought of him as a host.

Even his most infamous play, he didn't think Tarasco would have caught Jeter's fly ball.
