With Parekh’s comments about seeing habits and work ethic, being a long way away, coupled with Huska’s recent inference about not all players being in shape at camp, part of me wonders if Parekh might have been part of the group not in tip top shape. Not much to go off of and pure speculation, but that might explain an early demotion and signal sent to the youngster.
Bahl's interview is interesting, I know you cant read to much into it but he sure gives off a vibe of not being happy with the trade.
I personally didn't get that vibe. He came off as polite and answered the standard questions with standard answers. Doing interviews might just not be his gig.

Great attitude from Parekh. And no problem with Bahl’s interview, glad I wasn’t the only one confused where the unhappiness with the trade narrative came from, seemed pretty obvious he was talking about missing the first week or so of camp.

I didn't get that impression at all. What I got from that interview was he's a little bit frustrated with the timing of the injury, and right now is just really focused on getting back up to the same level as everyone else at camp.

Surprised Parekh didn’t get more of a look. Thought he was easily one of the best Flames D on the breakouts. Would have liked to have him get a few NHL games just so he can know the pace to better prepare for next year. He was overall quite a bit better than I thought he’d be. Less flashy but more solid, which is good.
