You may not like dino7c, but again, likely true.
We come at it from totally different perspectives but there is no denying that he's right way more often than the rest of us are.

Every ad to control your gambling is a reminder to gamble.
It's never 'stop gambling you poor idiot,' it's always 'after shelter and food are covered, gamble all you want.'
The fact that people have to be told not to loose their shelter and/or starve (because then you might have a problem) tells you everything you need to know about how vulnerable many people are to this addiction, and how laughable these anti gambling efforts are.

I’ve honestly lost a lot of respect for the Flames organization over this.
The constant stream of gambling ads is the worst thing to ever happen to the NHL. I’m uncomfortable watching the TV broadcasts with my son. “Hey, hockey is great, but remember, ignore the constant stream of socially corrosive behaviour they’re promoting at every puck drop.”
I’ve watched a lot less hockey the last two years specifically because of the gambling ads. And hoping that they’ll come back around at some point.
Looks like the Flames have chosen to lean into it even harder.
This really sucks.

This is a significant worry I have as a father of three young boys.
I have very little interest in gambling on sports outside of a small stakes wager with friends who might cheer for another team, and I tend to mentally tune out the references to these gambling sites when I watch a game. I don't know if my young boys will be able to do the same and what will the consequences of that be for them once they turn 18 and are able to legally make wagers of their own?

Fair enough. Maybe I should say that I am not so much worried about them making small stake wagers, but I do worry about them getting in over their heads where their gambling debts become excessive. This is very much a real world problem that shouldn't be easily dismissed.

Growing up my sister was into Equestrian.
Bring back DuMaurier!
Its got the right colors, good branding and lets be honest...
How hard would it be to re-crest the Jerseys and have Blasty just having a few darts??
If we're going to get into this lets not half-ass it! Whole ass all the way!!!
I should have gone into advertising!

We could repurpose the T-Shirt cannon to fire out packs of smokes into the crowd!
Promotional puck! They have a pack of smokes taped to them and the players give them to children!
"Here you go little one! Dont smoke them all in one place!"

The good old days when you could buy a pack of smokes at the concessions and smoke them on the concourse.

We're living too long. We need to bring back Health Hazards.
Get Blasty on the Jumbotron smoking a pack and then hand them out to the crowd!

It looks like they're now selling the Fanatics Authentics ($500 for a blank). No advertising patches.
