Hah that’s where I keep laughing. “Tried to shoot” isn’t even really genuine, a guy five football fields away had a gun. Wow man it’s basically Lincoln all over again.
So anyway back to how JD Vance admitted he’s making up lies to sell their racist anti immigrant propaganda. The pogrom they’ve started against Haitians in Springfield is wild. Bomb threats, kids staying home out of school, good times. I think now is definitely the time to finger wag because people aren’t upset enough about a non event at a golf course.

The fact that Trump was repeating this at the debate, that he totally got clowned by his own VP's lies is kinda delicious. What a team, I look forward to the next installment.

I think that is only a valid opinion if you are prepared to kill that person yourself. Cheering from the sidelines is gross.

Don't forget allegedly putting acid on people's cars? Can't at all imagine them doing that to someone in person next...

With idiot JD Wentworth admitting to making up stories to generate interest.... EVERY SINGLE interview that he does from now on they should ask him about his sex with couches.

Exactly. It’s odd to me when posters are complicity silent about things like brazenly fictional violent anti immigrant rhetoric but are quick to jump in and finger wag when the proper amount of reverence isn’t paid to someone almost having someone near them with a gun. It seems like a curious choice of battles to fight but maybe that’s just me.

I thought that the post-debate outlook was clear; the Right generates so much noise that there is nothing worth addressing. But the Left is not too far off, and thus must be held accountable down to the smallest detail.

The world would be better without some people, and Donald Trump is one of those people. The only reasonable counterargument to celebrating his death is that it would inevitably have consequences for the stability of the USA leading to suffering for others, not that his death in and of itself would be a bad thing. When he goes, it'll be "good riddance", no different than people celebrating when Kissinger died... except that Kissinger had stopped having a major deleterious impact on many people's lives well before his death.

Should this be seen as an argument in favour of gun control? Although a classroom of young children getting slaughtered didn't do anything to move the needle in that country so why would I expect random people with motive and ability to shoot a politician to make a difference. It is only a matter a time before another president or politician is assassinated and who knows what will happen then.

It's alarming when politics blinds people to the gravity of an assassination attempt. No matter who it is, that's not something to take lightly.
And claiming that “America is embarrassing”
America has its issues, but it's also a place of innovation, freedom, and opportunity. It's far from perfect, but embarrassing? That's a stretch. Please compare any other melting pot with over 330-340 million people, living in close proximity and you’ll see what countries are embarrassing. Culturally or religiously speaking
|
Yeah, I’m sure Trump was thinking the same thing about human decency when multiple bomb threats were made after his hateful Springfield comments

Can't ban guns so the next logical step is the ban golf courses.

100%; and i made sure of pointing out, i wasnt referring to Trump.
Frankly, a Trump assassination makes him a martyr to a whole group of deplorable people.
I would rather Trump face the music once he is defeated.
