YYC Costco lovers would be a good bet, or calling a Costco warehouse and asking customer service if they have any at their location.

Be aware that the YYC Costco lovers Facebook group has too many people that kinda act like people who have discovered social media for the first time in the last 18 months. They can get kinda weird and combative.

Considering how much good hoodies cost these days, if you are paying $25 for a hoodie with the Costco logo on it, it is essentially the same as paying you $25 (or often more) to wear the hoodie.

Honestly, I hate and love Costco at the same time. I hate being in there and navigating around. People leaning on the front of their cart moving at a snail's pace. Stopping in the middle of nowhere. Clogging up the isles to get granola samples in a dixie cup. People in a frenzy like it's their last day on Earth. I am not sure if there are any other retail stores that cause me so much anxiety.

But I do like a lot of their products and the staff at the checkouts always seem nice.

Wait until you hear about the ones who spend hundreds or thousands extra if they know another guy sweat in it.

The people hovering around like hawks at the sample stations is nuts.

Sometimes it feels like some people show up just eat the samples.

I carefully ration my hoodie wearing. I buy them in our travels. My favourite is the Sour Toe Cocktail hoodie from Dawson City.

I can’t really anymore, but man a couple of beers or a toke before going in, accepting you’ll be part of the problem and just rolling with the tide of fools wasting their time shopping, and it’s actually not so bad at all. Grab some snacks and revel in the ridiculousness of 20 foot Santa Clauses before school starts.

Is there an arena of some sort in there that everyone goes to in their Costco jerseys to watch the annual hot dog eating contest?

I believe the correct pronunciation is “bunny hug”.

But like in real life, not the internet you guys are serious that a hoodie with a corporate logo on it elicits conversation? I mean, maybe my social circles are different than yours, but I couldn't imagine a point in a nice evening gathering that a corporate hoody would garner conversation.

"Do you work at Costco?"

"No"

"OK, so why are you wearing a Costco hoodie?"

"It's a good hoodie with an embroidered logo."

"I, uhm, yes..see that. Well, Happy New Year."

The honest conversation is more like:

"Do you work at Costco?"
"No"
"OK, so why are you wearing a Costco hoodie?"

"It's trending on TikTok"

I'd rather have people think I was a criminal than a Saskatcheweiner.

Huh. Late to the party I suppose but I just figured he wanted to impersonate Costco employees for the purposes of Intermediate Larceny.

Its not a bad plan.
