So... do I put all my savings into Costo hoodies now? Keep it in Yeti cups? Or do I hedge my bets and diversify?
I’m all tied up in CVS polos right now but once I’m a bit more liquid I imagine a move into Costco hoodies is in my future. I’ve heard good things about Esso 3/4 zips but I gotta see for myself before I go all in.
As someone who has a wide selection of branded Kirkland and Costco clothing (Hoodies, sweaters, hats, slides) i can confirm it is infact a great conversation starter as odd as that is.
Rando: " Is that a Kirkland hat?"
Me: "yeah.... im a gold star member, no big deal"
Can also confirm the quality to price ratio is extremely good.

I always have trouble deciding between wearing my Costco hoodie or my Real Canadian Superstore one. Sometimes I have to just default to my Safeway hoodie. The safe choice.
Does the RCSS have a slogan like
"Pro tip, don't buy your mix at our liquor stores"
?
Should also note...you get a pop with the hotdog for your $1.50. Hot on the front and a cup on the back

I dunno man, I think you'd be pretty hard pressed to find anybody in North America that hasn't purchased and worn an article of clothing with the brand name plastered on it somewhere. What's the difference if it's Costco or Old Navy, or Gap, or Roots, etc.?
If they made a shirt that said "If you raise the ####ing hot dog, I will kill you. Figure it out." on the front, I'd buy one.
I do like the hot dogs there, but they must be really high in sodium. I'm thirsty all night after eating one and bloat up like a fat Elvis.
Also, they have been really militant there lately about membership cards. My wife sent me back outside to get a cart and gave me her card to get back in. When I showed them the card, they said the picture wasn't me, and wouldn't let me back in. I didn't have my own card, so my wife had to come back to get me.

I think they had too many issues with idiots who would lie their way in then throw a fuss about how they can't check out without a membership card. I know I started seeing a lot more people making a scene at the entrance and checkouts in the last few years.
I don't know if you still have the complementary secondary card or not. It might be a good idea to get one for you if it's free anyways. The secondary card is my wife purely for in and out purposes. I don't think she's ever used it to buy anything.
Clamouring over each other to have a chance to pay money to advertise for a massive corporation. Peak capitalism.
Paying hundreds and thousands to watch millionaires play a sport to make money for billionaires. Spending more hundreds to buy jerseys, hats, hoodies, etc. to advertise for those billionaires. Peak capitalism.
