No, he's crazier and more importantly, he's now boring. It's the same tropes over and over again.

Sure, there are people who just vote R, but I think they may leave President blank. Election needs to be a landslide, just to end it all.

It might matter. Harris had a lot of momentum after the switch and got up to a 3-4% lead in the polls that would most likely win.

It settled down to 2% or less last week, which is not safe at all. If the debate gets her back up to where she was a few weeks ago, it may be enough momentum to carry through to the election.

It's funny. Yesterday being the anniversary of 9/11, an interview with Trump on that day came up in my feed. He couldn't help but brag that a building he owns in New York that was once the tallest building, was once again the tallest building in the city.

Prior to 2016 Trump was in deep financial trouble and was going to lose his properties. The presidency saved his business, got him some cash and made his daughter rich too.

I suspect his balance sheet is still in the red. But defaulting to the people he now owes would be more than risky for him personally.

I see Caitlin Clark liked Taylor Swift's endorsement which will rattle a large portion of her fanbase (who didn't care at all about the WNBA until they perceived her as a white champion for them).

Polls are less important than turnout, obviously. T. Swift telling her army to mobilize is the single biggest factor that can be brought to bare. 40% will vote Rep. 40% will vote Dem.

A poor performane by Trump will reduce his turnout numbers but his fans will still answer the phones to take polls.

A good performance by Harris will motivate her supporters to turn out in order to help make a difference and get rid of Trump.

The biggest concern for the Dems is complacency and thinking they have this thing so people don't vote.

What the 20% do is crucial. If T. Swift can deliver a large number of eligible voters to actually vote that will have a massive impact on the election. Over 300,000 people registered. To get the follow through to click the link, provide all the info and actually follow through getting registered is incredible. I would be really curious as to how many actually clicked the link. I bet it was many multiples of the 300,000 which mean there are many, many more interested.

Could you explain your thoughts here? Why would Clark rattle swift's fanbase? I would suspect the venn of Clark and Swift fans is very large. I know my girls knew of and followed Clark for a while. And they are massive swifties.

Are there really a lot of MAGA WNBA fans because of her? I can see some subtle or subconscious racism from leftish leaning people in her fanbase, but I'm not buying that a lot of Trumpers are watching women's basketball. I could be well off base on that though.

I’m not white knighting for conservatives. I’m white knighting for my daughter and her friends, who are huge Caitlin Clark (and Angel Reese) fans.

There is definitely a group of people using her as a wierd reverse racism’ and anti straight icon. I can’t say it’s sizable but it is a portion of her fan base.

He simply can't help it and stop himself. It's fascinating to watch how in every interview, he'll make sure he pats himself on the back at least once about something. I think it was in the Lex Friedman interview, but Trump wanted to make sure he brought up how well Truth Social is doing, when Musk and Twitter was brought up. He clearly wasn't praised often when he was young and so he constantly needs to present his accomplishments to anyone that will listen.

WNBA players and their union spoke out against commissioner Cathy Engelbert's recent comments on a TV show that failed to condemn racist and bitter criticism from fans toward the Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese rivalry.

WNBA players and the union don’t know what’s going on but cliff does. Interesting.

Pretending it’s not a thing doesn’t help but yeah man let’s clear up the statement so your delicate sensibilities aren’t upset: it’s not all fans of her’s but it is a sizeable enough portion of it that this is a well known story that has been addressed by the league, players, and union. Perhaps peek your head out of the sand
