I doubt it, he is a bad businessman, is as dumb as a rock, what he has is a name he has sold but that is a hundred million or less over his lifetime, his big asset was his fathers land which he has leveraged but if he has any assets over his massive debt I would be surprised, he's just in debt to Russia who dont want money for it, they want influence

Saying that Harris is just doing what every politician does is certainly a valid point. You might be ok writing it off as normal behaviour. I’m not. Personally, I think we should hold elected officials to higher standards, particularly the leader of the most powerful country in the world. I don’t think guys like Obama did it anywhere close to the degree we see now, and his presidency wasn’t too far in the past.

I think the role of the other party in the debate is to challenge the framing of these issues. In a debate process that would help a person decide who to vote for you would see each party present their framing of the issue, then debate the improper framing of the other issue. So in the context of a debate I don’t think it’s writing it off as abnormal behaviour instead the debate process is designed to resolve these issues. This is different than lies which require moderator intervention as a fact check.

The facts

According to the US labour department, 4.5 million jobs have been created over that stated time period. But Obama neglected to mention that in the earlier months of his tenure in the White House, America lost almost as many jobs as it has since added to the economy. So he is a net job creator, but only by a sliver.

I certainly don’t see a difference between Harris and Obama in terms of truthiness. Have a read and let me know what you think.
