pfft, flying in a suit... I've flown in sweatpant, hoodie and sneaker combos that cost more than your car, peasant!

... sorry I felt the need to inject some Peter12 into this discussion.

... but actually, nice sweatpants and hoodies are great. Reigning Champ rules.

One of the wealthiest people I know(family), we went to his place for a party. He was dressed like a park ranger, shorts, hat and all.

Ate and drank like kings.

Pfft...this is Calgary!

I remember hitting up a bar and drinking with this old dude in jeans, a torn sweater and a ratty old baseball cap.

Multi-Millionaire.

I remember making a comment and all he says is:

"I'm too busy making money to worry about my clothes."

This just seems like another chapters in the never ending “M’Lady” saga of curves’ life.

Everybody, everywhere, is somehow doing it wrong. Life just isn’t made for respectable gentlemen like him anymore.
Haha, well I’m not 50 and I went to a wedding a few weeks ago in Birkenstocks, shorts and a button up shirt. I was the most casual person there, and it was completely fine.

Now are you trying to figure out how you and curves are related?

Well this wedding was a really good friend of mine, and while I don’t know Curves, I’m pretty sure he wasn’t there.

I was going to say something on this line. The people dressed well on planes are people wearing sweatpants and a hoodie that cost than the ill-fitting suit someone bought just to “look the part.”

And they’re wearing a hoodie and sweatpants on a plane because they’re on a plane, and the one thing people who dress well know how to do is… you know… dress well. Which means dressing for what the occasion actually calls for, not dressing to impress fedora wearing dweebs who tux-up on their way to Mexico.

Do planes wear tweed suits or pinstripe?

Maybe they’re scratching his legs under the sheets.

I wear cargo shorts, golf shirts and Skechers on the regular. I’m sure Pepsi would have me killed for fashion atrocities if he could.

Who cares? Wear what you want. I do draw the line though at going to weddings or funerals or certain other occasions and not wearing a suit. Come on.

I’ve just undermined myself, haven’t I?

You people, yes, you people, actually make me laugh and keep me feeling young with the commentary.

The sports jersey wedding has happened a few times.......in Saskatchewan with Rider and Oiler gear. Let's just say the European side (dressed well) marrying into the ummm Old Stock Canadian side of the wedding was all about this wedding jersey nonsense.

Heck we even have a thread talking about how bad the people in Edmonton are dressing at the games and the malls, sweatpants central. Replace what I have said in my posts with Oilers and Rider fans and maybe you get a more clear picture? These are the people clipping nails on a plane, going sleeveless. They actually have an instagram account about it https://www.instagram.com/passengershaming/?hl=en

Pepsi: Imagine if my 4:30 pm Swiss Chalet crew started showing up at your hot spot places dressing like they do , what would you think? Not everybody @ Swiss Chalet on a Saturday dressing up like I do.

Did you get your tickets to the local Rain Event?
