What ever happened to George Bush and Jeb? They can't be happy with what the Republican party looks like now.
The former Lt. Governor of Georgia Duncan is campaigning for Harris. He defended Kemp, and Kemp turned around and kissed Donald's ass after he based him and his family.
Are there enough of these people in the Republican party to boot Trump and the other nut jobs like Greene and Borbert.
He was a quite popular Republican house member in a deep red rural part of Virginia. I talked to him briefly a couple times before he entered politics when we'd visit his distillery.
They wanted him out for officiating a same sex wedding. They knew they couldn't primary him due to his popularity, so they changed the rules to a hastily called church parking lot caucus that was tough to get to from most of the district!
Ironically, the guy they replaced him with wasn't loyal enough to Trump in the end, so he got primaried out this year!
Riggleman was a house freedom caucus Replubican when he was in the house, so that's pretty huge shift to see him publicly endorsing Harris.
I just don't think there is any room in the national GOP party for anyone but unquestioning MAGA people.

Jesus, dude. We get it. Both politicians have rallies.
They in no way impact the amount of people that vote. How many CPers have been to a political rally? they still vote.
give it a god damn rest
To be fair to them, people were posting videos of tiny Trump rallies and huge Harris rallies, like they were truthful.
If anything, the posts from both sides of this silly fight, show that nothing anyone posts can be taken at face value. Everyone is editing their #### to make the other side look bad.
Everything is disingenuous and it's frustrating to follow.

Trumps excuse not to debate Harris is that he signed up to debate Biden not her.
This isn't true, though. There is an actual document, an agreement, between the two campaigns about the debate. That document states that the Republican candidate for president will debate the Democratic candidate for president on ABC on September 10, with the attendant details. It does not mention "Joe Biden" specifically.

are you suggesting that Donald Trump of all people would lie about something about this, or act in bad faith? How dare you, good sir?!?
Lol Vance is weird in the fact that I can't tell wtf he's trying to do. Is he actually bat#### crazy or just going along with it for the grift? Does he have no shame? His poor wife and kids...or do they not care as well if they come out with more $$$? Baffling stuff.
They had David Frum on the Rest is Politics podcast yesterday. REally interesting interview.
Frum was a mentor for Vance for quite a while, and is described in Vance's book. Frum described Vance as very malleable ideologically, and really good at mimicking back who he is working with. Vance has a drive to acquire power and seemingly moved on from Frum to a more powerful group of crypto investors (I think this was Thiel) and then into Trump's orbit.
You simply can't watch this dude and not like him. You just can't.

"Embracing policies to allow convicted felons to vote, Walz is obsessed with spreading California's dangerously liberal agenda far and wide" Trump complains.
I guess Trump wants Florida to ban him from voting? Him being a convicted felon?

On the flip side, here's the first word out of the Trump campaign since the Walz pick.
This is interesting, because aside from pushing the "Hamas wing of the democratic party, antisemitism" thing a little bit, he's mostly pivoting at every opportunity right back to Harris and doesn't want to talk about Walz at all. That would seem to me to fly in the face of the notion that the GOP is "relieved" that she picked Walz because they can define him negatively - if they can, why isn't he immediately doing that? Why is he instead bringing out the same lines about "Kamala Harris's policies have failed the average american" that will get absolutely no airtime?
Surprising comments.

Watching the right wing mouthpieces flail to attack Walz is exactly what was expected. Still funny and pathetic but not unexpected. I imagine they’re going to cycle through attack angles at a breakneck speed. Any chance the republican VP pick debates Walz? I know Trump’s already running scared from Kamala so I assume they’ll find an excuse to hide from Walz as well
Actually pled to reckless driving but there is a report from an officer on the scene who said he smelled like booze. So, not a great look.
On the other hand, it was 30 years ago, and he didn't rape anyone.
