You might be right, but I think people always forget that the Dems can also look the other way and ignore inconvenient topics. They put up with a lot with Obama, especially in the beginning.
Dems also have to try and play it both ways with Gaza, because a significant proportion of their own base are also pro-Israel. Harris already distanced himself from Netanyahu, so to have a VP that's pro-Israel might make sense for them.

That said, IIRC Nate was calling for Biden to drop out as early as February so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt here.

I'm also concerned about the degree to which they're salivating over the debate. Yeah, call the guy a coward, running scared, but just a quick hit, because this is what has repeatedly happened. In 2016 all he had to do was not set the podium on fire and #### himself, he pulled that off and the whole hype about how bad Hillary was going to demolish him completely had the air let out of it. They keep falling for this expectation game nonsense.
